Our world is governed by stories and they have the power to change the world.

If I talk about it in the context of adventure sports, shooting a compelling story is a hard process. Most of these actions occur in extreme environments and remote places. That's where I prosper as I love the challenge.

I am an adventure sports filmmaker and I bring the stories of those athletes who are leaving a mark in this space by pushing their physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional limits in these extreme conditions.

I took this project "The Fastest Indian by @kierendsouza" as a passion project. The project was to complete 10 6,000mtr peaks in 30days. This project was one of its kind and threw its own set of challenges. It seeped everything out of us and Kieren. I was confident that it will change the concept of mountaineering in a positive way where more people will be inspired to take up outdoor sports.

Documenting this project demanded me at my physical best and in good shape. My training included speed hikes (doing treks like Bhrigu Lake up to 4300m altitude and Khn Pari Tibba at 4000m altitude in one day), weighted hikes (carrying 8-10 liters of water and gaining 1000m elevation), and long walks on zero calories.

In the process of shooting this film, I climbed 3 peaks - Point 6100 (6100m), Kiager Ri (6100m), Yalung nong south (6080m) plus a failed attempt of Spangnak Ri peak till 5800m due to bad weather.

It was very tiring physically (as recovering at this altitude is tough) but mentally as well. But it was all worth it when after all the challenges, bad weather and extremities, Kieren completed the project and I was there shooting the last moment of this project and him celebrating. Moments like this help me realized how important my job is.

When I was in 10th standard, I asked my social science teacher, how one can find their passion. To which he replied to try as many things as one can. There is no certainty at what point of life one will find it. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, things I am passionate about. Although it's just a beginning, in this journey of sorting things out, I do feel lost at times. It's like when you are climbing a mountain, it's all sunny blue skies and all of a sudden the cloud hovers and gets all white out. Your eyes will fail to see farther than a metre and have to figure out the route by basic sense of direction. The only difference between then and now is, I have a sense of direction even if I get lost sometimes. As the cloud moves, I start climbing again towards my dream.

Backlever is back in my arsenal😎
Holding backlever on slackline was way tougher than holding it on a bar but the best part is even if you let go, you drop in a pool of water.
