A Short Film Exploring How Even The Most Beautiful Relationships Can End

Just like love is complicated, so are the relationships we forge along the way, trying to feel all-consumed by this feeling of love. No one can say for certain what makes or breaks a relationship.

It is in this vein, that Mohit Tiwari ( @mohitkrtiwari ) directorial short film Amaya exists and explores the dynamics of a relationship, with Aaron Kaul and Yashi Verma playing the protagonists in the short film and with poetry by Verma and Raqeeb Raza.

the first single of 2023 is something I’ve been carrying with me for years. I wrote it in my early 20s when I couldn’t make sense of my anxious thoughts and my mind felt like a war zone. My tendency to doubt my worth in almost every situation (good/bad) has been one of the most exhausting battles that I’m still learning how to fight. It was also the time when I almost gave up the dream of being a musician but it feels good to be here sharing a song that helped me heal and I can only hope it does the same for you 🌹

Singer-songwriter Kamakshi Khanna @kamakshikhannamusic released her single, ‘Breathe’, across all platforms on Friday, 20th January 2023. A song about anxiety and self-doubt, ‘Breathe’ was written at a time when Kamakshi felt burnt out with being a musician.

nowadays i am feeling like those vintage 90's models and actresses, they had everything but it all really didn't matter enough to make them feel valued and wanted in their own eyes.

India is not alien to photography that dares to go beyond the body, and following the need to provide a solid platform to artists who dare to look beyond the skin as they lovingly unfold the strata of external imagination, Homegrown invited creatives who explore the nude through their work to introduce themselves to us.

As we tried to explore conversations like the viewer’s gaze, the inspiration an artist finds in the body, and the importance or relevance of nude photography, we unravelled several strains of thought – all of which we have curated and put down here.

Say, ‘Bonjour!’ to 14 Homegrown Nude photographers who are shifting the needle and the way we perceive nude photography.
