Jeff Koons’s Balloon Dog is among contemporary art’s most recognisable icons, and Hublot has teamed up with the artist to bring it to the wrist by inflating the Classic Fusion’s case, crystal and dial into domed, rounded shapes. The watch is aimed at those who see horology as wearable art, a view reinforced by the fact that selected galleries will offer it alongside Hublot boutiques. ⁠

It is built on the manufacture HUB1710 automatic movement with a 50-hour power reserve and is offered in silver, red and blue, with each edition limited to 200 pieces. Read more in MOJEH’s October 2026 issue.⁠

In this episode of Artist in Focus, MOJEH speaks to Mohamed Monaiseer about his solo exhibition, 85 Seconds to Midnight, named after the current setting of the Doomsday Clock, which tracks how close humanity is to catastrophe.

The fabrics featured in the exhibition trace back to Anne, who cooked for residents during Monaiseer’s time at Can Serrat and sewed while sharing stories of planes flying overhead and leaving rumoured chemical trails.

For Monaiseer, this reflects a recurring idea: occupation and control change form, but the underlying patterns persist.

85 Seconds to Midnight is on view at Tabari Artspace, DIFC until 1 October.

The Majlis carries an old idea. A circle to sit in. A place to listen before you speak.

On 27 August, we built that circle at N°OW’HERE with The Emirates Family Office Association, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a new corridor between Switzerland and the UAE.

A hundred guests, from both nations, filled the room. A transaction can move across the world in seconds. Trust asks for years. Only one of the two endures.

Geneva and Dubai. Europe and the Gulf. Ideas, capital and people, moving in both directions.

Dario Vitale has been named Creative Director of Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani Accessories, the first time this role has gone outside the Armani family. He arrives with a familiar résumé: last year, he became the first non-family designer to lead Versace, only to depart after a single collection when Prada Group acquired the House.⁠

In that brief window, he brought back Gianni's signature glamour and body-conscious silhouettes, through a lens that still read as unmistakably his. It'll be interesting to see how that instinct translates within Armani's language of restraint and tailoring. Vitale's first collection is expected for Autumn/Winter 2027.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are returning to England with their children this fall. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will keep their homes in California and Portugal, settling instead into a private residence outside London, with no plans, for now, to resume official royal duties. ⁠

King Charles was informed of the decision earlier this week, and the children are already enrolled to begin school in the U.K. this September.⁠

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are married. The couple exchanged vows in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal on 11 August, confirming the occasion on Instagram with a photograph of their matching rings. The wedding falls almost a year to the day after their engagement, and a decade after the pair first met in Madrid in 2016. ⁠
