$2024 was a wild ride! Very grateful for all the good memories and time spent with family and friends. Thank you Lord for protecting and providing through it all. Here’s a small list of accomplishments from the year. Certifications Achieved -Class A CDL with doubles and tanker endorsements -ASE T series certifications *Gas Engines *Diesel Engines *Suspension and Steering *Electrical/ Electronic Systems *HVAC *Preventive Maintenance and Inspection -609 HVAC card -PQA pork hauling card Schooling -I finished all of my in-person classes with Baker college at the Auto Diesel Institute in Owosso. I finished second in my class with certifications earned and with perfect attendance. I made the 109 mile (1 hr 41 min) trip 98 times from January-August. I have two classes to finish in the spring of 2025 to earn my associates in Diesel Science Technology. Farming -I had a successful second year farming. I grew, picked, and sold over 5,000 pumpkins. I also experimented with some cover crops and winter wheat. Health and Fitness -I started running a minimum of one mile a day in August. I didn’t miss a single day except for the 3 weeks I had to take off due to fracturing my kneecap in October. -350+ miles total for the year -completely sober for 145 days and counting -down from 220lbs to 190lbs -ran 26.2 miles (a marathon) for the first time ever with a time of 4h and 25min -I ran my first Turkey Trot Randoms from the year -I traveled to 13 states -I worked for 6 different companies -I had 3 family members pass away -I was the best man in a cousin’s wedding -I showed for my 9th year at the Branch County Fair -I attend 4 concerts (George Straight, Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, and Chris Lane -I bought the 7.3👌 -I learned how little sleep you actually need and how to work much harder than I ever had before. -I can confidently say this has been the best year of my life$
