Yes, me & @mselaineheng was in Penang for Miss SHOPhia Shopping Hunt 5.0 @miss_shophia which took place on 28 Oct 2023. The event was organised by Tourism Malaysia @malaysia.truly.asia @tourismmalaysianorthernregion @tmsingapore.

This thrilling hunt serves as a platform to boost awareness of the charms of Penang and shine a spotlight on the beloved niche icon, Miss SHOPhia.
Among other sponsors are VISA (payment gateway), OZO Georgetown, The Granite Luxury Hotel, Sunway Lagoon, Lost World of Tambun as well as major mall such as Design Village, 1st Avenue Mall, Gurney Plaza, Sungei Wang Plaza & many more.

Thankful for my team members @mselaineheng & Philippine’s new friends @mokaiche @paul_japanoy for the great teamwork! 👏

Unlike the previous editions confined to shopping malls, Miss SHOPhia Shopping Hunt 5.0 embraced the entirety of Penang, encouraging participants to explore its myriad charms, from bustling shopping havens to UNESCO heritage sites & delectable culinary delights.

We are given a clue to each of the 19 locations in Penang that we need to visit & complete given tasks like taking photo, try the local food & drink. We spent around 4.5 hours to complete all the tasks! We are really delighted to have came in 1st under the international category & won RM3,000 and RM200 @gurneyparagonmall shopping vouchers.

What my team did?
We started off with finding all the location once we got our list. We saved the 19 destinations in the google map. Thereafter we planned the locations to visit by the nearest distance. One person focused on posting on social media for all the photo and one focused on the direction for each destination. The rest of the team members helped to look out for the locations. It was really with teamwork that each of us focused on our respective task thoughtout the entire journey that led us to our winning.

Thank u @tmsingapore @malaysiaairlines @malaysia.truly.asia @tourismmalaysianorthernregion for the wonderful event. Through the race, I got to know many new friends & also many hidden gems in Penang. Thanks @amirul.haniff for the vids.
