Sunday showcased the most beautiful art of all: love! The burly fam gathered in Durham to celebrate marriage of @lady.gem.stone & Daniel! Our dear Gem, cannot believe we met in 2024 for @auroranova_burlesque showcase. You have been the big burly sis from the very beginning, always blessing us with your advice, tip top organisation & incredible sewing & lashes skills 💅(you’re simply the best you know). Would never in my life imagine that years later we would have this honour to witness & celebrate you taking the first marriage steps in your laced sparkly gown, surrounded by so many people who love you, and watching everyone revel in this gorgeous day 🫂.
From the very beginning, just before the sunset, straight out of a Disney film, we walked into the residency and spotted the bride and groom taking their photographs, surrounded by nature’s own little wonders: deer wandering through the trees, birdsong in the air, and greenery stretching in every direction (you could even spot a horse!) 🦌🌳🐰
Inside the celebrations began: the official cake cutting (TIRAMISU) followed by the first dance. Soon enough, we were dancing the night away, just as we had been summoned to do. We all waited for ‘our’ songs (mostly @auroranova_burlesque ‘s warm-up and showcase tunes) to come on so we could recreate the choreography. And although it isn’t pictured in this post (and you can thank my phone for that) almost the entire group eventually danced to Bad Romance (and Macarena earlier!) Ahh, bubbles, fire and conversations (perhaps aided by a glass or two of white wine and one cheeky Baby Guinness shot) kept us warm, glowing and very happy inside.
You see, there IS love in this world. And you @lady.gem.stone & D: carry so much of it that it radiates from you wherever you go! So let love inspire the art, too, let it keep us hopeful & brave to lust the life’s desires!
Once again, congratulations to you both.
May this be the beginning of a lifetime of beautiful things.

So much looooove!!
I’m feeling mega proud of all these amazing people who worked super hard this summer to develop an incredible variety of burlesque acts 💖

Go give the next gen of burlesque a follow:
☎️ @d.anarchy.official
⚡️ @lordvictorrosa
🌺 @oloritolewa
🕷️ @elliejolly_
🌦️ @tattytaboo
💖 @abbieruins
😼 @caramelduskburlesque
💐 @misty_thistle_
🍑 @molly.ouse
🎤 @klaraberlin.uk

It can be lonely making solo work so it’s crucial to support each other. And I have felt so supported by these babes!

I cannot recommend @auroranova_burlesque’s classes enough, whether you’re based in Leeds or lucky enough to have her visit further afield 💞

🎂 15/08/25 🎂 Can you believe it’s been 1 year since Baby Swan hit the stage with her debut act The Diary?📖

Under the mentorship of @auroranova_burlesque I brought the very first chapter of the Diary project to life, then spent the following months developing it further. Since then I have been so blessed with incredible opportunities (including my first paid booking in February 2026! Do you remember how happy I was?!) to bring this unique genre of confessional, intimate & interdisciplinary cabaret onto industry stages.❤️‍🩹 Well, it has been a journey of nurturing this little baby in hopes it finds the people who feel it as deeply as I do ❤️‍🩹.

So, instead of another lengthy paragraph I wanted to celebrate by finally sharing some never-before-seen top-secret super-rare footage I recorded ON THE DAY OF MY DEBUT alongside my fellow performer classmates at @auroranova_burlesque’s showcase! 🎥 The FIRST OG ‘emotional baggage vs. show time’ episode of the series! 😂 it’s almost 100% raw footage!

Thank you to everyone who has been part of my Diary so far. And if you want to see what my Diary looks like currently, check out my stories this evening! 💖 Another little backstage tradition…

I cannot wait for the next adventures this baby brings me, because there are some very iconic things coming up, including the launch of Chapter Two! 👀

And as for goals & wishes for another year?
I would love to keep taking The Diary to extraordinary stages across the UK, Europe & beyond (As my latest poem says: “The world is too small for me
and I need to reach the stars.”), to keep creating and keep expanding, keep believing.

So, dear producers… if you would like to see The Diary on your stage, please get in touch! I’d love to bring it to you and make you all a part of it!

Here’s to one year of Baby Swan! 🥂
And to everything still waiting to be written!

A very busy week that was capitalised by a lovely (but low key) ITV Pride Day. Our annual internal LGBTQ+ event that occurs across the company.

Here I am standing behind a mountain of rainbow cake alongside our lovely @molly.ouse and the wonderful @brad_riches of @emmerdale 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

It is not every day your fans are chasing you down asking to sign their bum 🤭 even wandering through Todmorden, they still would not leave me alone… my biggest fans? Maybe. But honestly, I am theirs! Big love to @oloritolewa & @d.anarchy.official ❤️

Anyway: my very first @hebdenburlyfest was something incredibly special. Attendin the Legend in the Making competition and supporting such an iconic line-up in all their brilliance was unforgettable. Huge shoutout to our burly sis @missy.sure (AUDIENCE CHOICE WINNER!!! 🙌) and the biggest congratulations to our 2026 Legend @lulu_langoustine 🐩 (your little paw prints are stamped on my heart forever :’)), plus of course to all the finalists! Watching you all made me so emotional!

I left feeling so full and inspired by the power of those subtle, nuanced expressions that say everything without saying a single word, being reminded how important it is to honour your individuality, to lean into your own style, your own voice, your own way of moving through the world.
Seeing so much creativity in one space felt like a quiet message from the univere to not change who you are and to stay rooted in your uniqueness. Your people will find you!

Endless gratitude to @lady_wildflower and everyone involved in bringing this production to life. It truly feels like being part of something bigger… something that’s shaping history in its own beautiful way. 13 years and only growing stronger!

So much love to the familiar faces I got to reconnect with ❤️ (on the pic @elizaberse @molly.ouse @saffronshowers) and if I missed you, I am so sorry, I will find you next time ( where I am hoping to make all four days happen… and finally get my hands on that merch! ✨)

☆ STAR SEARCH 2026 ☆ Behind the scenes Vol. I ⚡️

Pardon me the delay in posting, I was busy dramatically reliving the events of last Saturday, finally serving you all today a very chaotic (very me) scrapbook of the cutest backstage moments 💋 💋

Woah, where do I even begin! ☆
Being part of Star Search definitely reminded me of how rich I am in the absolutely extraordinary experiences! I am creating memories for life whilst sharing my very own piece of my heart embodied in my art, my unique expression ♡.
And on Saturday I got to share this expression with so many icons of the industry and other upcoming burlesque stars who are the most supportive, talented and friendliest people ever, both on and off stage. Being given this opportunity to perform and compete is a huge accomplishment for me which I will never stop being grateful for.
Thank you Tawny @theboobytrapburlesque for seeing potential in my work and for gracing me with the platform to showcase my ‘The Diary’ act in the most stunning venue @cornexchange_doncaster in such a safe and supportive space. Thank you to all the technicians, stage manager @rollinwithlindsay_ Tawny’s sister for assisting, for building this event brick by brick, and to the fantastic panel of judges @mscocodeville, @dominodevile @lou_safire @heidimavir carefully crafting their scoring and offering the lovelies notes!
(The lift ride in socks will be forever engraved in my memory).
Truly cannot wait for the photography @photoniti and videos @sakurafilmproductions, you always capture us so beautifully!
Slightly off camera, but I am also sending thanks to my burly mom @auroranova_burlesque for helping me develop this act and @velmavogueburlesque for making my costume to truly enhance the reverse strip potential!

⭐️STAR SEARCH 2026⭐️
(Grab a snack, it’s a long one! 🫣😂)

Saturday night I competed with my amazing peers at the newcomer Burlesque competition, Star Search!
In usual fashion, I took barely any photos/videos on the night. I’m still trying to find that balance of living in the moment and capturing memories! - I’ll get there with it! 😅
Last year I sat in the audience at Star Search 2025, watching all of the talented performers on stage and being incredibly inspired by everyone’s artistry. I was only a few months into starting burly classes not even knowing what was to come..!

This year, I had the unbelievable opportunity to stand on that very stage myself. Going from the audience member to performing my Circus act has been such an incredible and rewarding experience.

I’m so grateful to the judges - @lou_safire @dominodevile @heidimavir @mscocodeville - for their feedback and for taking the time to support and guide newbie performers like me. I’m excited to take on board your notes and continue to grow!

Thank you to @sakurafilmproductions & @photoniti for capturing the show, I’m so excited to see everyone’s footage and piccies! 🎥📸

A very special thank you to my mentor and burly momma Tawny Kay @theboobytrapburlesque. For your guidance, support and encouragement throughout this sparkly journey. I’m incredibly thankful for everything you’ve shared and taught me, I literally wouldn’t be on that stage without you. And!! Thank you for shining a light on and giving newbie performers like me the chance to share our ideas, stories and what we love on stage.

To my fellow competitors, the Star Searchers! Not only did you blow me away with your amazing talent, you were all the absolute best people to be around backstage too. The way we lifted each other up, not once did it feel like a competition. I’m so excited to see what everyone gets up to next! I can’t wait to see every single one of you grow!

Truly grateful to have been part of Star Search this year. ✨

Congrats again to

Are you feeling Lucky?

24 hours earlier I’d produced my own show… last night I was filming Boobytraps Star Search…and now I’m lying down with a trapped nerve in my shoulder and neck like a damsel who has swooned 🫠

Totally worth it though, because LOOK at this absolute bunch of glittery chaos. ✨

The wonderful @photoniti on photo duties and all these gorgeous humans were the brave souls competing in Star Search. Feathers, rhinestones, big personalities and an unreasonable amount of sparkle in one place and a GORGEOUS new venue.

Burlesque people are the best people and I will hear no arguments.

Right, back to resting my extremely dramatic shoulder. 💅

What a Brilliantly varied and truly excellent quality cast for @theboobytrapburlesque STAR SEARCH last night in Doncaster.

Congratulations to @ivymalice

I really enjoyed all of the performances. The whole cast were excellent. My personal "Ones to Watch" are Just Mary (genuinely excellent choreo and brilliant comic timing) and Molly Ouse (joyfully queer and positively filthy)

One thing's for sure, the future of Burlesque is in safe hands

What a night!

Congratulations Tawny and Team

Star Search is tomorrroooowwww! *Cue me singing a very pitchy version of Annie*

So so excited for the show. And look at this lineup!
Ah so much talent and fabulousness under one roof!

I’ve said it before but it is really really lovely to have this little community of new performers on this sparkly journey together! - I can’t wait!! 🥰🤩🥰🤩
