Everyone always asks me what my favorite place I’ve visited is, and honestly, I don’t think I have one.

For me, it’s never really been about the place. It’s always been about the people.

My favorite places are the ones where I’ve met people who opened my perspective, showed me a different kind of love, pushed me to try something new, or taught me something I’ll carry with me long after I’ve left.

Maybe that’s why it’s so hard to choose a favorite place. A place is just a place until the people you meet there give it meaning.

So I guess my favorite place is wherever I’m surrounded by people who make me see the world a little differently.

Cheers to 3 years of solo traveling

Still riding the high from this year’s @locavorefarm Dine on the Land Chef Series with Chef @matxmeyer + @ansleytable!

I shared some of my favorite photos last week, but here’s a preview of the experience in motion.

I only captured a little bit of video between shooting photos, but even then, video doesn’t quite do it justice. It’s definitely one of those experiences you have to be there for in person.

Already looking forward to the next one! 🙌

What an incredible weekend getting to return for year two of @locavorefarm’s Dine on the Land Chef Series with Chef @matxmeyer + @ansleytable in Illinois! 📸

This is easily one of my favorite events to photograph. There’s something about being out on the farm, watching each course come together, capturing all the little details, and seeing everyone slow down and really enjoy the experience.

Two nights, some seriously incredible food, and so many great moments to capture.

Here are just a few of my favorite shots from last weekend.

Already looking forward to being back behind the camera for the next one! 🙌

It was a joy to provide the florals for @locavorefarm’s Dine on the Land last night. It was a seasonal feast by chef @ajcuschieri of @thedearbornchi, grown and sourced from Locavore and other small family farms, with an amazing live set by @molly_adamson.

And the flowers? Grown by us here at Songwood, from field to table. Dahlias, zinnias, and everything else the season is giving right now. There’s nothing we love more than watching a season’s worth of growing become the centerpiece of a night like this. 115 people gathered around tables, sharing a meal, enjoying the beauty and bounty nature provides.

In no particular order, I have a few more truly special people to thank:

Vanessa and her mom— @vanessagriffinofficial you are forever my example of what it means to choose kindness first always. V is one of the kindest, most positive young ladies I have ever met. She is inspiring, selfless, and a bright light on/off the runway.
Even though she needed her mom to help get ready for the fashion show optional, they both saw my hair crisis unfold and immediately stepped in to save the day! Thank you both so much for being there to lift a helping hand 🙏💜

@rian_k_valentine is the one who started my pageant journey. I would’ve never found this passion if it weren’t for her encouragement and the empowering message she represents. I am forever thankful for all she has brought into my life, including some of the strongest women I’ve ever come to know— including, but not limited to: @yasincuevas @jillamyers74 @blended2813 and @stacey_alise_ 🫶

@official_khloewilliams you are my forever princess 👑 I love this girl more than she could ever know! Watching her grow from the little girl who fell asleep on my lap after a long day of national competition to the young lady she is becoming has brought actual tears to my eyes. I’m so incredibly proud of her and all she has accomplished over the years ❤️

Lily Zetting— Not pictured, but absolutely unforgettable. WOW has she grown. Especially in the way she speaks! I am beyond proud of her accomplishments and her heart for service! I cannot wait to spend this year as her sister queen and watch her continue to shine like the star we all know she is 😭

And lastly, to the MNI Class of 2025– What an incredible group of young women! Each of you came for different reasons, achieved different goals, and all while still managing to support, encourage, and uplift one another the entire weekend. I can’t wait to see where each of you goes next!

Oh! And shout-out to @tonya_darnell__ for the media advice. Again. 😂

Thank you all for making this experience unforgettable 🤍👑

40 f*cking rotations around that massive ball of fire. Grateful to my partner and the friends in my life. Feeling pretty happy and content with where life is.

2 more days in Amsterdam and then back to Chicago to get ready for @thefestfl with @deathposeband.
