One of our favorite parts of every Family Reunion Adventure is catching up with our Bert’s Big Adventure families and celebrating all the exciting things happening in their lives! And this reunion at Zoo Atlanta was full of sweet milestones, exciting updates, and moments that made our hearts smile. 📸 by @cassandrayoung Raynel, who joined us on our 2016 Walt Disney World trip and earned the title of Best Smile, showed off his super cool standing wheelchair! It helps him incorporate physical activity into his daily routine, and we love seeing him find new ways to keep moving, growing, and doing the things he loves. 📸 by @sarahesther We’re so honored to hava been a part of Raynel’s life for the past decade and to celebrate all the milestones along his way! 👏 These are the moments that remind us the magic of Disney is just the beginning our forever community. 💜 📸 by @cassandrayoung A heartfelt thank you to @gas_south for helping fuel our reunions! 💜

Fast forward to Ayden’s grand @highmuseumofart debut! 🎨💜 Friends and family gathered to celebrate as Ayden’s incredible artwork took its place on the museum walls. From the red carpet to a creative scavenger hunt, the evening was filled with laughter, love and proud moments. As Ayden’s dad, @atbowen, shared, “So what we hope Ayden gets out of tonight is how his artwork brings everybody together, and it ain’t about a disability.” And that’s exactly what happened. Art brought everyone together! 💜 A heartfelt thank-you to the High Museum of Art for celebrating Ayden’s incredible talent and inspiring him to keep sharing his masterpieces with the world! 🎥 by @mastersofvisualarts

Ayden joined the Bert’s Big Adventure family in February 2026, when he embarked on the adventure of a lifetime to Walt Disney World alongside other incredible kiddos who understand what it’s like to face challenges that many children never have to experience. 📸 by @sarahesther For Ayden, the trip was filled with magical moments that helped bring him out of his shell, build his confidence and share his passion for art with others who understand that while life can bring difficult moments, the determination to pursue what you love should always prevail. 📸 by @cassandrayoung Ayden was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at just nine months old. Because of a family history of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, his mom, Brandi, had him tested early. When the results came back positive, it allowed him to begin therapy early, a true gift of time many families don’t receive. Ayden understands his diagnosis. When others ask, he simply explains, “Everyone is born different.” When the world feels heavy, Ayden finds comfort in art. Creating gives him space to express what he cannot always put into words and reminds him that while Duchenne may shape his body, it does not define his imagination. 📸 by @cassandrayoung When we shared Ayden’s story with our friends at the @highmuseumofart, they immediately jumped at the chance to showcase his work and help share his gift with the world. 📸 by @amandacokerweiss Natali Johnson, Chief Communications Officer at the High Museum of Art, surprised Ayden and his family at the 2026 Bert’s Big Adventure Send-Off Celebration with the incredible news that his masterpieces would be featured in a special installation at the High Museum in Midtown Atlanta. Ayden was in shock! 📸 by @amandacokerweiss @bertshowbert said, “Your artwork is going up next to Monet!” What followed was an artist’s dream come true: a grand opening night created just for Ayden, surrounded by his family and 50 of his closest friends. The evening featured his artwork on display, light bites and refreshments, and most importantly, a celebration of his incredible talent. 📸 by @amandacokerweiss Among those celebrating Ayden was Jennifer, a Bert’s Bi
