POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last night we walked and talked the course. Except for a couple of minor tweaks, this year’s track is mostly the same as years past.

You’ll remember climbs at Christie and Barton, off-camber at Crawford, with sand and barriers all (mostly) to spec.

We also unearthed this year’s merch drop, featuring awesome design from @wizzardboi on a heavier cotton long sleeve t-shirt.

Hit the link in bio for reg, merch, and more info ✌️

dear cycling, 💌

i got into you because i thought it would be fun to try something new. fast forward a few months: 100+ km rides, hills i did not ask for, freezing weather, new friends, one very dramatic crash and… i’m still obsessed 🫪😂

you’ve challenged me, humbled me, and shown me i’m capable of way more than i thought.

thank you for the freedom, the adventures, the new friends and the questionable life decisions 🤭💌

This was the first year in many where I haven’t felt compelled to start shouting “CROSS IS COMING” in August, while simultaneously stutter-stepping my bike around my local playground. If anything, I’m mourning an incomplete MTB season - one that ended abruptly at the exit of trash panda in the don.

But Thursday night something clicked. It was around the moment I pitched that sluggish front end of my trek checkpoint from outside to inside of a hastily taped u-turn. While letting the bike accelerate as it ran wide and into the well-used yellow caution tape, I stood up to sprint for the next one I remembered.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the first @midweekcycling cross clinic of the year! Four more weeks of clinics and six weeks until @christiepitscx !!!

Time to build a new bike!!! 😈😈😈 (any guesses?)
