The colossal old bald cypress that is a mainstay and central to the view off the pier, is just one of a few of the old guys in the middle of the lake. It has stood the test of time, as it’s seen not just mere decades but centuries. It is a survivor of many ups and downs—especially lightning strikes—but still conveys redemption as its lower limbs green up each successive year.
It is a survivor, and like our camp founders we marvel at their strength and resiliency. It is in this sense of steadfastness that we give thanks to God, in this our 40th year anniversary of King’s Camp.

I’ve been reborn! Praise Jesus!!!!

The way the Lord has transformed my heart is truly a testament to how faithful He is. I am forever grateful to have a God that never stops pursuing me. He has been and will be forever steadfast. He is the rock that I stand firm on, and I am overjoyed to have the privilege to publicly declare Him as my Lord and Savior. How lucky are we to have a father that died for us while we were still sinners, so that we may be raised to life! Praise Him forever, for we are undeserving of a love so divine, yet He loves us anyway.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come”
2 Corinthians 5:17

What a powerful gathering of camp family & friends to honor those who helped bring this vision to life. Thank you to the entire camp community for your prayers, support, & involvement in the King’s Camp mission. For those who could not make the ceremony, we cannot wait to have you join us at the Cross at the Oaks ampitheater.
