Pi Beta Phi is my home. 🩵

Okay im gonna get sappy… Freshman year, I moved to Memphis searching for a fresh start. I was scared to go through recruitment though, scared that I wouldn’t be accepted, that I wasn’t a “sorority girl” or my family didn’t come from the right background. Since day one of recruitment, Pi Phi always has made it known that they want me exactly for how I come. As I enter my senior year, I am so proud of myself for taking that chance and allowing Pi Phi to pour into me. Thank you to the alum who came before me & made pi phi my home.

Getting to serve as DNME my senior year blows my mind a little. This has been a dream role throughout my time in Pi Beta Phi and I owe everything to the women who served in this before me. To Ashley, my mommy, thank you for everything you did and pouring your heart into MC 23’. To Peyton, thank you for showing me it doesn’t always have to be serious and I can still show off the fun side. And Odeth, words cannot express how much I look up to you, I wouldn’t want to follow in any other footsteps than yours. Thank you for showing me everything and always being there for me.

To my new members, thank you for taking a chance on Pi Phi and me, I am so excited to be apart of your new member process. PPLAM till I die 🩵😇

I’ve dreamt of this day since I was a freshman, but these girls and this chapter have exceeded my expectations in the best way possible. Friends come and go but Pi Phi is forever! 🪽

It’s hard to put into words how much Pi Beta Phi means to me. I never thought the day would come where I would be a senior writing a post about how a sorority changed my life. I was always the girl who thought this kind of thing would never be for me, but oh, how incredibly wrong I was.

The women in this sisterhood have truly changed my life. I’m so grateful for all of the countless times they encouraged me to continue to put myself out there and take a chance. Saying yes to Pi Phi gave me some of the most meaningful memories and friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Thank you to Pi Beta Phi for showing me what true friendships look like. I’ll forever be in debt to the women who made this sisterhood so special to me. PPLAM🩵🪽

TN DELTA, there aren’t enough words to express how this week and these past three years have changed my life. Pi Phi and my time here at Memphis has not been easy or your normal one and if you know anything about my journey it’s one I couldn’t have done alone. Pi Phi you have remained steady, constant, and present. In times when I didn’t feel a tomorrow in my life, they laid beside me, laughed, cried, and fought for me. Through every high and low that life threw towards me they threw back an arrow a thousand times harder. I am so blessed to experience this recruitment week with my best friends and share a piece of my journey. I will always be chosen and I will forever choose TN Delta. PPLAM 🪽🏹
