It’s official, Hap is ready to pass the torch to his grandson, Max!😉👨🏽‍🍳 They started at 9:30 am and cooked all day! On the menu: Brisket topped with Abraham’s famous BBQ sauce, paired with homemade mac and cheese, mediterranean salad, & twice baked potatoes.🥩🥗🍷 What started as a small family business in 1951… 75 years later, the fourth generation is carrying on the legacy, learning from the pro trained at @theculinaryinstituteofamerica! Should these two start a mini series: “Cooking with Hap & Max”?🤔💭 . #omahafoodlovers #omahanebraska #familybusiness

And just like that, the next generation of the Abraham Catering family is getting married!! 🥹🤍💍 In June 2025, we welcomed the fourth generation into the family business, Max, son of Jennifer and Brian, alongside his high school sweetheart, Molly! Peep the 4th photo 👀 This is where their love story began, right at Lucile’s Old Market. Fast forward 8 years later, to their engagement in the very same special place where they fell in love!🥹 We couldn’t be more excited for them! The best is yet to come! ❤️🥂 📸: Anna Mantini @annamantini.photo

This past Friday we had the best day visiting @abrahamcatering! ✨ We got to see their team in action, capture some awesome video + photos, and even enjoy lunch…their famous bourbon pecan chicken!😍😋 It’s easy to see why Abraham Catering has been Omaha’s most trusted name in catering for 74 years and counting!! Molly was the ultimate host, and the entire crew made us feel so welcomed! They truly are one big family. ❤️ They even spoiled us with take-home meals from their sister brand, A Casserole To Go.🍴 We got to hang out with Chef Jordan, whose is the heart and expert behind these delicious dishes! Over the past five months, we’ve been updating their socials, launching three brand-new websites (for their venues @venuesbyabraham , @1316beverageco, and @casseroletogo), and we’re currently putting the finishing touches on Abraham Catering’s new site. 🙌 This is just the beginning! We’re so excited to continue working alongside such a legendary Omaha company as they grow into the next chapter of their 74-year legacy.
