It's been a minute East London.
Growing up in Newham made me the person I am today. Been out of the endz for many a years now but you can't take the East boy outta me.
Running the docks and than Canning Town to Stratford shows me how much the area has changed.
Growing up Custom House couldn't get their post delivered or even get a take away... now its lined with beautiful apartments shows how things can change.
Like my running journey, I always believed I would get better and progression will always be there. This journey is not linear and waking up and getting to the start is always the biggest challenge.
Like the coach Saheed said 'The Sun Is Always Shinning Somwhere You Just Need To Look For It'.
It was a tough session today but the people and the songs helped especially a few bangers from Kano when times where getting tough.
Thank you Rep Runners and Level 4 Lifestyle for the run... brought a smile to my face in the rain.
Total of 15km done... onto the #bighalf next week.

The last few weeks have been humbling. Taking a break from running gave me time to focus on the things that really matter recovery, nutrition, friends, everyday life, and spending less time on social media.

A big thank you to @momena.c for always looking out for me. Every time we meet, she somehow always has something for me 😭🫶 Really appreciate you!

One week to go until my next race @officialbighalf 🏃‍♂️

No pressure, no expectations. Let’s see how it goes.

Peace ✌️
