A historic day in San Antonio. 🏳️‍🌈✨

Today, I had the honor of standing alongside @salgbtqchamber and @equalitytx as Mayor @mayorgoj proclaimed this month LGBTQ+ History Month and LGBTQ+ Veterans Month — marking the 15th anniversary of the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

Fifteen years ago, service members could be discharged simply for being who they are. Today, we celebrate how far we've come — and we honor the courage of every LGBTQ+ veteran who served this country, often in silence, often at great personal cost.

Visibility matters. History matters. And moments like this remind us that progress is possible when communities come together with purpose and pride.

As someone deeply committed to serving the LGBTQ+ community through affirming mental health care, I'm continually inspired by the advocates, leaders, and veterans who paved the way for the freedoms we celebrate today.

Here's to honoring our history, uplifting our veterans, and continuing the fight for full equality — together. 💙

My Trans Brothers & Sisters - you are beautiful , you are strong , and you BELONG 💓

My journey since coming out as nonbinary in March of 2023 hasn’t been a linear one . Celestia helped me through one of the hardest times in my life and she’s still alive as one half of me . My discussions lately with my trans family have been reaffirming and I’m so thankful to be seen by them and guided by their journeys of enlightenment in self identity . I look to the courage and the beauty of my trans family being authentically themselves . We’re navigating through dark times in our Country , but the bravery and love that stands within the Trans Community is the light in all the darkness . I owe my drag career to my Trans brothers & sisters , and without yall I couldn’t do what I do today . TRANS LIVES MATTER . BLACK TRANS LIVES MATTER .
