Rehearsal days for Psycho Killer in Winnipeg. 🎬❄️

I’ve filmed in a lot of conditions over the years… but this was next level.

-37°C with 70 km/hr wind chill on the coldest day. The kind of cold that cuts straight through every layer and makes your eyelashes freeze between takes. 🥶

Massive respect to the Winnipeg performers & crews who work in this year round because honestly… I have no idea how you do it.

Key Rigger: @deltaechovan

Psycho Killer stunt double: @glennennis

One of those jobs that reminds you filmmaking is a little bit art… and a little bit controlled chaos. 🎥🔥

*Rehearsal & BTS shots*🎬💥

Spent a few months shooting Psycho Killer in Winnipeg .… That ish was so cold! 🥶

The Mission:
Ratchet Pull Aka Get sent by a 280lb dude and Fit through a 3ft x 4ft window.

We dialled this in precisely to prevent injuries. A real game of physics, timing and patience.

Dave is a genius for rigging this setup and landing it perfectly inside such a tight space. Definitely not an easy one, but it went flawlessly and I was very grateful.

Special thanks to Marny for the opportunity & always having my back, and to Dave for always keeping me safe on my lines. 🙏🏽🫶🏽💥🎬

Life lately…🥂

I’ve had my head down this past year, chasing some big goals and really wanted to take a hot minute to share some of the things I’m most proud of.

Never could’ve dreamed this all up. Never could’ve done it alone. Worth every ounce of blood, sweat and the occasional tear.

1. Life in California - big risk, big adventure, life changing

2. Big Talks - giving my first TedX talk May 21st on building confidence through embracing failure

3. Breeder - a project that Devyn & Alex brought me on to co-stunt coordinate last year is an official selection for Tribeca Film Festival

4. A zillion ways to d!3 - humbled to be a part of an award winning team for our infectious 😉 stunt work on The Last of Us S2

5. Teaching - travelling North America for workshops to share my love for wrestling and stunts and film with so many rad humans

6. Is It even work? - getting paid to play with insanely talented humans whom I also get to call friends

7. Film-making - collaborating with other very creative humans in the indie film world, who indulge my vision and sense of humour

8. Hype squad - investing in my circle of badass babes who are each others biggest fans

9. Time Out - Mermaid time is my most favourite time 🧜‍♀️

Thank you to every single person who lifted me up, challenged me and was right there along side for this wild ride (I hope you’ve all felt my love and appreciation).

Can’t wait to see what’s in store for me next!
