Come with us to visit Santa at Disneyland! 🎅✨

The most magical time of the year at the Happiest Place on Earth wouldn’t be complete without seeing the big guy and telling him what we want for Christmas!

🚢🎁✨I asked Santa for a 5-Night sailing on the Disney Destiny! What’s on your wish list??

There’s no wrong way to do Disney… BUT if you want a successful trip, here’s what you need to know ⬇️

🎢 You can’t just “show up” at Disney.
A magical trip takes some prep! I’ll handle the heavy lifting for you 🪄 but you still need to look over the resources I send. A little homework = a lot more magic!

🗓️ Stop overthinking + overplanning.
Yes, preparation matters — but so does being present. You cannot do everything (nobody can!), so we’ll prioritize your must-do’s and leave space for spontaneous Disney moments. That’s where the magic lives! 💫

👶🏻👧🏼 Kids under 10? You. Need. A. Stroller.
Unless your kiddos train for marathons, this is non-negotiable. You’ll avoid meltdowns and score a free rolling locker for snacks, souvenirs, and all the stuff you swear you wouldn’t carry but will. 😅

🛌 Take a midday break.
I know, I know… leaving the park feels counterintuitive. But a little downtime in the middle of the day = happier kids, happier adults, and a better evening in the park. Even a quick hotel nap or pool splash can completely recharge everyone and prevent meltdowns. Trust me, it’s a game changer!

🚫 And please don’t book with a big-box site just to save a few bucks.
The “deal” isn’t worth the headaches. When you book with a Disney-authorized planner (hi, that’s me! 👋🏻), your reservation is made directly with Disney — so no third-party hoops if something goes wrong. Plus, you get my expert support from planning ➜ travel ➜ home again. Stress? Not on my watch. 💼✨

Ready to make your Disney vacation actually magical (and not overwhelming)? 💫 Send me a DM or tap the link in my bio to get started — I’d love to help you plan the trip your family will talk about forever! 🏰

Life is all about balance, am I right? 🙃

Also, the popcorn was free with the VIP Tour, so girl math says I deserve another treat! 👌

I only had about 20 minutes inside Disneyland this week… so I decided to grab a birthday button and made it my mission to wish as many opening day attractions as possible a Happy Birthday! 🎉

Major shoutout to my bestie @momswithmagiccrowns for watching my kids ((who are blocked out for the summer!)) so I could squeeze in this quick but magical visit. 💖

There’s something truly special about the fact that so many opening day attractions still exist today, after 70 years!

Drop an emoji for your favorite Disneyland opening day attraction that’s still around today! 👇

🎂 On Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary: What Makes A Disney Adult?

The outside world doesn’t seem to understand what is perceived to be a “weird” relationship with a theme park. But allow me, if I may, to shed some light on why I love personally love this place.

I came to Disneyland in the summer of 2007, not quite sure where I was going with my life. I had been turned away from numerous employers (pre-recession job market) and had really no vision of where I wanted to steer my ship. By this time in the job hunt I had fostered a “nothing to lose” mentality that gave me the courage to try to make my dream of working on The Jungle Cruise a reality. That risk paid off. I got my dream job as a Jungle Cruise Skipper. But Disneyland gave me so much more.

What Disneyland Gave Me:

❤️ An amazing community, many of whom I am still friends with almost 20 years later

👀 A vision for what I wanted to do with my life (I became a teacher primarily because of the Disney University training Program).

💫 A willingness to pursue my dreams, no matter how goofy or silly they may seem. Because they ultimately lead to lasting fulfillment.

🎙️ A Podcast that would keep my passion for the genius of Walt Disney and Co. alive long after I left the company. This podcast also introduced me to some of my dearest friends and most talented creative collaborators I’ve ever met.

🏠 A place where I feel like my heart truly belongs. A place where the world feels like what it should truly be. The cynicism that adulthood can bring washes away at the gates of this magical place, replaced by that sense of imagination and wonder that we all once felt as kids. A place where my wife and my kids, extended family and friends can join together and cultivate some of the best memories of our lives.

So, if all of the above makes me a weird “Disney Adult” in the eyes of the world, then I’m left with really only one thing to say: “You bet I am.” happy birthday, Disneyland. Thanks for everything.
