One’s held that pose for years. The other gave me a split second.

A little symmetry in a Philly park. No rehearsal required. Just a good reason to keep the camera ready.

Fear not, my friend! You’re gonna cry… and it’s gonna be fiiiiiiiine!

A few of my favorite questions I get from brides (and honestly, more so my moms…) is my makeup going to be all over my face if I cry? Is it going to be gone? Should I try not to cry?

The fear is real. We can’t have raccoon eyes a mere hour into your day! I wouldn’t be doing my job if so!

Of course you shouldn’t try not to cry. And yes, your makeup will be okay!

The really lovely thing about a more natural makeup— it’s WAY longer lasting. The less layers that are put on, the less there is to come off. It’s that simple!

We’re primed and prepped and set your skin and eyes— nothings going anywhere that easy.

And my favorite reminder—- pat, don’t wipe! Press your tissue to blot your tears while you press your makeup in place rather than wiping them away— you’ll wipe your makeup away too.

Simple right? It *should* be that easy!

Are you a crier? How about your fiance??

Pssstttt…. Only 7 Fall 2027 Saturdays left with me! DM to check your date!

In the almost 20 years I've been shooting weddings, it's tough to find a spot in the city that is a first for me. This weekend we had a gorgeous wedding in Signer's Garden outside the Hotel Monaco, and I have to say, I'm OBSESSED. I loved being surrounded by the sounds of the city, Jeanne + Zach even said in their ceremony how perfectly imperfect it was that you could hear all of the hustle and bustle, the horns, the bike bells, and of course the hoards of tourists stopping to watch. They likened it to marriage, that in the imperfect chaos of day to day comes a beautiful moment and a beautiful life.
