Finally back after summer: our first Gentleman’s Evening of the season, this time together with @mondofcph in Oslo.

A fantastic evening! Special thanks to @prinsen_oslo the food. Great steak and fries. And thank you to @theyachtclubclassics , so everyone got to try their bottled Negroni.

Chalk stripe double-breasted from @mondofcph, made to measure, and tonight it’s going out with cowboy boots.
A chalk stripe suit usually gets a tie and a trip to the office. I think it can do a lot more than that. So I left the tie at home, wore the jacket open and put on a concho belt and my brown cowboy boots.
Not for everyone, I know. It’s just my way of dressing down tailoring, and I love it.
Too much, or just right?

[Anzeige] Linen is usually associated with summer, but not every linen fabric is light, airy, and loose. Fabrics from Northern Europe, particularly Ireland, tend to be more robust, thicker, and heavier. While still designed for warmer temperatures, they remain perfectly wearable even on warm October days. This suit was built together on my bucket list for quite a long time and is built together with @mondofcph . I went for the perfect tobacco leaf shade by @dugdalebrosandco .
If it feels a little too cold for you, consider investing in a piece like this for the next warm season.

Details for the nerdy one 🤓
I had the opportunity to work with @mondofcph on this made-to-measure suit and it’s already become a favourite for autumn. Cut from a 360g wool flannel by Leichtfried in Austria. Dark brown, soft and with a bit of weight, which is exactly what you want when the temperature drops.

None of it is loud, but it’s the kind of thing you notice on the second look. Thank you Mond for a great process, from the 3D scan to the finished suit 🕴️
