We took a 6 day reset to focus on Papito’s passions 🎶, our 1 year marriage anniversary 🥹, and my 27th birthday. 🎉

To say this trip was a recharge is not enough haha. I got to see the love of my life live a little glimpse of his dreams, we got to visit our future home that is only 70 days away 🥹 and we celebrated 1 whole year of being married and all of the accomplishments we have achieved in that. Plus growing 1 year older, 27 is going to a year of CHANGE. WILD CHANGE. And a year of DREAMS COMING TO LIFE. I never in a million years thought my future would look as bright as it does right now. Thank you God. And thank you @lacrewart ❤️🎶🌴🌊

Another thank you to:

Alright, 70 more days of grinding. Then we move, and life takes on a whole new challenge! See you soon Miami. 💕🌊🌴

Medellín with kids? 10/10 recommend! ✨

Things to do & see:

🏙️ Pueblito Paisa: 360° panoramic city views and a charming replica of a traditional Antioquian town.

🎨 Comuna 13: Vibrant street art, outdoor escalators, and incredible energy that kept everyone entertained.

🗿 Plaza Botero: Stroll among the iconic oversized bronze sculptures downtown, then if you have time, go over to Explora’s interactive science museum and massive freshwater aquarium (huge hit with little ones).

💃 Live music & salsa (Date night): 🎶 If you have a babysitter or are traveling without the kids, Medellín’s music scene is unbeatable. Head to Son Havana in Laureles for world-class live salsa dancing, or visit the historic Salón Málaga downtown for live tango/bolero.

Some food recommendations:

🍲 Mondongo’s: Go here for authentic Colombian comfort food. The sancocho de gallina is a must!

🍽️ Casa Eterna: Maluma’s restaurant - the food, ambiance, and decor truly did not disappoint! It had traditional plates but with a modern twist. Didn’t see Maluma though so might have to go back 😊

🥐 Daily staples: Start you morning with warm pandebono and crispy buñuelos. Grab street-side arepas con queso and hot empanadas throughout the day!

Our top family travel tip: 💡When traveling with little ones, you’re almost always back at base early. Book an Airbnb you actually want to spend time in! We stayed in a rooftop apartment in Laureles with a private jacuzzi on the terrace, and bbq – spacious to unwind under the stars once the kids were tucked in. 🌙🛁

Save this for your Colombia family adventure! 📌
