✨ It’s been such a busy few days, I’ve only just had the chance to sit and do a proper post to say a HUGE thank you to CBeebies for selecting The Street Where Santa Lives as their bedtime story on Saturday, and to the phenomenal Jessica Gunning for reading it so beautifully✨

💖 It was amazing seeing Julia’s fabulously festive illustrations blown up so big, and I have to admit I got a bit teary at the end 💖

🎅🏻 Although it’s mine and Julia’s names on the cover, and us that get the name check on the tele, picture books are such a team effort, so a massive thank you to everyone who has worked on this book with us - our agents, editors, art director, sales, rights, marketing, PR and the entire Little Tiger team. Thank you for believing in this story and really getting behind this book. 🎅🏻

🎄 Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas 🎄

PS if you haven’t seen it yet, you can catch up with this and loads of other brilliant bedtime stories on iPlayer!

The beautiful boardbook of "You are my Everything" was published yesterday! There's just something about the handheld size of this that makes this story even more heartwarming. I'm also beyond thrilled that @littletigerbooks found a way of including the end papers I illustrated the picturebook.
Working on the colour pallet for this story was a dream! The elephants make thier journey back to the heard, from dawn to night time, so I could really push all those yummy colours! And this is my favourite line from @kellyconroybooks 💙

We have a website!

All of our projects are collected together in Storyboxes.

Each Storybox is a group of members who responded to similar themes and a quote of Morris's work.

Storybox 1 was lead by the quote 'this is quite certain; no one of us can deny it: are you contented that it should be so?

Annie's thoughts on what ties Box 1's works together: 'I think this quote speaks to a discontentment with the status quo. This year has made us look at how we live our lives differently. For many of us in the collective, it’s highlighted patterns or habits we have as a society that should probably be challenged or questioned more intentionally.'

Members in this story box are:
Izi Thexton
Chloe Hulse
Julia Rose Lewis
Annie Yonkers
Ioanna Stergiaki
Dionne Kitching
Cecily Loveys Jervoise
Zakia Carpenter Hall
Martine Aamodt Hess and Nora Marie Vatland
Monica Arroyo Berezowsky
