She is love to no end, beauty and grace. The sun in my day and the moon in my night. She taught me the only happiness comes from within, and no matter your hardships, you had to keep going. She raised three kids by herself, owned her own business, and kept the highest expectations of everyone. If I got a 99 on a test, she’d ask why I didn’t get 100. If I got 100, then why didn’t I ask for bonus points. She taught me to never settle, ask for more, know my worth, and to go after my dreams because they aren’t going to be handed out. She’s my drive.
