My video editing skills leave something to be desired, but this fun, magical show is a treat to check out!! To purchase any of the work that you see here, contact the gallery on Instagram @peep_space or via the email peepspaceny@gmail.com. From Peep Space’s website: DIVINATION explores the extra-rational systems we use to make meaning, from prophecy and ritual to chance, intuition, and superstition. This small works exhibition activates Peep’s Back Room, our new experimental project space adjacent to the main gallery. Alongside the exhibition, a rotating lineup of artists and oracles will offer live readings and participatory experiences on select Saturdays and Sundays throughout October and into November. Practices include tarot, numerology, stone divination, readings with handmade symbol and oracle decks, and more! See www.peepspaceny.com and @peep_space for oracle reading schedule and more info. Installed by Rachel Sydlowski and curated by Rachel Sydlowski, Jess Blaustein, Monica Carrier, and Jacquelyn Strycker. SMALLISH season2 returns!

Carrier는 뉴욕의 A.I.R. (Hunter College), A.I.R. Tyler School of Art에서 BFA를, Hunter College에서 MFA를 취득했다. 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒓 1. 2020년에 설립된 제주 아일랜드 아티스트 컬렉티브는 다양한 협업 전시를 기획·진행해 왔다. 2021년에는 뉴욕 퀸즈(Queens, New York)의 Bliss on Bliss Art Projects에서 전시를 열었고, 2024년에는 펜실베이니아 리딩(Reading, PA)에 위치한 Albright College Freedman Gallery에서 매튜 개리슨(Matthew Garrison)이 기획한 전시 Parallels and Rupture에 참여했다. 큐레이터로서 컬렉티브는 COVID 팬데믹 당시 긴급한 시대적 상황에 대응해 뉴욕 Flux Factory에서 28명의 작가가 참여한 전시 “Survival Tactics For the Age of Ultra Anxiety”를 기획했다.

𝙎𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙃: 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐰𝐨 Jeju Island Artist Collective and Gallery Ondo are pleased to announce “𝙎𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙃: 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐰𝐨,” the second iteration of their international group exhibition. Building on the spirit and success of the inaugural “𝙎𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙃”, this new edition brings together an updated roster of artists from Korea and the United States, whose practices encompass drawing, painting, sculpture, and animation. The works are modest in scale yet capacious in meaning. None are sketches, studies, or fragments; each piece is a fully realized artwork that leverages intimacy as a conceptual strategy. Through distilled forms, compressed gestures, and concentrated material choices, the exhibition foregrounds the potency of the “small” as a mode of focus, restraint, and intensification. 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐰𝐨 continues the multivalent dialogue initiated in the first exhibition—between artists working across geographies, disciplines, and aesthetic vocabularies. Taken together, the works trace a network of subtle correspondences and contrasts, revealing how precision, concision, and attention can open expansive imaginative space. I am pleased to be included in PLUS 1.2 @peep_space Each of Peep Space’s five co-directors invited one artist, who then invited another. Invited by @rachelsyd to participate, and in turn I invited @biglarreon678 as my plus one. The exhibition celebrates the connections and creative affinities that shape our practices. It’s a pleasure to be in the company of so many thoughtful artists. My work on view: I keep the knowledge that all I require is already mine. I am lucky to have this place in the world.

What if the gap between where you are and where you want to be is where CHANGE happens?! This weekend, I joined a group of artists to physically map our current reality and future dreams. It was emotional. Joyful. Illuminating. Because resourcing isn’t just money or networks — It’s about allowing ourselves to slow down enough to feel into the space that scares us, and then letting it show us the way. 🎧 That’s what The Resourced Artist Revolution is all about — a free audio summit available beginning July 28, with interviews from women who guide us through that space of not-knowing to find our own true next step toward a creative life we want to live. 💥 Plus: a live masterclass with me (Naomi) on Thursday, July 31 to play in that empty space together! 👉 https://www.creativitymatterscoaching.com/revolution
