I have been putting off this post, but here it is.
Four years of college soccer in the U.S. are officially done.
Two years in Cisco, Texas, and two in Quincy, Illinois. I’m beyond grateful to every coach who gave me the chance to play the sport I love, and to all the amazing teammates who made this journey unforgettable.
Most of all, thank you to my parents and family for your endless support ⚽️❤️ #26 #27

Yesterday afternoon was Senior Day for @quhawkswsoccer and @quhawkssoccer The teams recognized and celebrated their Seniors before each of their games.
Earlier in the morning, I was watching a Premier League Football (Soccer) game and during the game, I heard someone refer to soccer as "The Beautiful Game" which reminded me of the first time I heard that phrase. I heard it from a dear family friend, former Legendary Men's Head Coach of Quincy (College) University, Jack Mackenzie. As I watched Jack coach over the years, I became aware of what that phrase meant. "The Beautiful Game" made me think of 3 words - Dignity - Respect - Grace. I have watched many soccer games in my lifetime and I have witnessed many, many athletes embody those words. I'm not saying that there are not moments of wildness, frustration and disagreements, but when athletes and teams bring their skills to the pitch, it truly is "The Beautiful Game".
Both teams from this year have continues the Legacy of Coach Jack Mackenzie.
I thank these Seniors for sharing their talents and leadership here at Quincy: Alayna Vela, Alyssa Amaral, Olivia Nelson, Reese Wingbermuehle, Reegan Hess, Ella Wolfard, Freja Hansen, Monica Shupe, Carlos Moreno Henao, Lewis Chapman, Alvaro Heredia Garcia, Paal Vistnes, Jake Ellis, Sebastian Jacques Courdy and Fetra Randrianasolo.
