The Celebration Continues...
Today marks 9 years and counting that I have been cancer free! It sounds strange to some, but the experience of having breast cancer made me a better person. It opened my eyes to how important the little things really are. I have a greater appreciation for my life and the people I love as a result. Celebrate each day as if it were your last people... Trust me when I tell you, things feel different when you finally realize that any day could be your last. Thank God for healing and for being faithful! and thank you to each of you who has supported me through this journey and walked in my honor over the years- from Canada to TX ya'll represented! (and yes I said ya'll- I'm from Texas baby)

My sister and her daughter walked in my honor the year after my diagnosis. 3 years later she got the same diagnosis. Check your family history and have genetic screening to determine if you have any gene mutations that can cause cancer.
