Syd Bosel:

Syd Bosel is known for her relatable storytelling about having "adult" children, surviving the glories of nature and being married for 1,000 years.

She can be heard on CBC's Laugh Out Loud and Just for Laughs. She was also this year's Canada's Got Talent.

Syd's favourite review, "That older lady was really funny".

Lisa Person:

A freelance graphic designer by trade, she's naturally quiet and reserved, and freely acknowledges she's a little older than many of her colleagues currently challenging the boundaries for women in the Vancouver-Lower Mainland comedy scene.

As she remarked at the opening of a monologue at one of the raunchier showcases she played, "I know what you're thinking – shouldn't you be scrapbooking?"

She has performed at I Am Woman! Hear Me Laff! and JFL Northwest Comedy Festival. She has also opened for Debra DiGiovanni, Tanyalee Davis, Chris Kattan and Derek Seguin! #internationalwomensday #internationalwomensday2024 #chilliwack #standupcomedy #talentedladies @chilliwackculturalcentre

Can not recommend this young lady enough and the group she works with. She has a powerful message. If you are able, get her group in to your event!

Posted @withregram • @moniquebcomedy Calling all teachers, principals, people with an invested interest in the lives of young people aka future health care workers, teachers, government officials etc...so grateful to have the privilege of working with an organization that equips young people to become thriving influencers who Value themselves and every person. If you're connected to anyone in upper elementary and High School we have curated all new talks and I'd love to use my humor and storytelling abilities to present them to students everywhere this school year. The yearly “Mother of All” comedy shows was scheduled for May 23rd @anvilcentre but instead it is happening in the Tropical Pillow Lounge a delightful new venue that even the stagette girls showed up at. Social distancing was followed but the picture was edited for the fan shot. I miss my comedy girls and and all our great fans that come out to the shows. #2020 #motherofallcomedy #laughterzone101 #femalecomedians #funniestfemales #comedyshows #workingfromhome #nextshowiscoming #womansupportingwomen #postponednotcancelled #girlsnightintour #vanfemalecomics #vancouvercomedy #standupcomedy

Honored to attend the 54th Annual BC Leadership Prayer Breakfast bright and early this morning. There’s something magical about 1,000 elected officials, business leaders, philanthropists and nonprofits coming together to read scripture and pray for the leadership of this province and our communities. With no media allowed, it was heartening to see the Premier and Leader of the Opposition sitting on either side of the podium and speaking from their hearts. Also, I woke up at 530am today - That was certainly also the work of God.
