THE DROWNED ASTARTES — FINAL DETAILS | WIP

Almost ready to emerge. ☠️

Working on the final details of The Drowned Astartes, refining the helmet one step at a time.

Every detail matters when creating something this twisted.

Handmade grimdark sculpture by Frankoros.

The final reveal is coming…

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good 🤫
Been busy making custom Master Patterns, Negative, Positive, and Matrix Moulds for sculpting bases for my personal use as well as for @batcatfx. I may not have Marauder’s Map, but do believe I will manage some Mischief 🪄
•
@smoothon for the Moulds, Shells, and Positives
@monstermakersus @monsterclayusa was also used in the process

Something is emerging from within the armour. 🩸

⚔️ THE DROWNED ASTARTES
A relic of war. A vessel for something far worse.

A work in progress.
Cosmic horror meets grimdark.

This is only the beginning.

What do you think is growing inside?

here’s phase 1 of my prosthetics building for day 16 of #DOMOween 🫡 I used @monstermakersus mold release to prep my 3d model, and to create height for the headpiece, I used foam clay as it’s super lightweight. So excited to showing yall what this turns into since I realized I have not shared what costume I’m actually making 😅 lmk if you have any guesses in the comments! #sfxmakeupartist #makeuptutorial #losangelesmua #halloween2026

THE DROWNED ASTARTES — Work in Progress

Some relics should never be recovered.

A forgotten warrior. A corrupted relic. Something ancient growing beneath the armor.

Inspired by the grim darkness of Warhammer 40,000 and cosmic horror, this handmade sculpture is slowly taking shape.

Still a work in progress. The corruption has only just begun.

Would you dare to uncover what lies beneath the armor?
