Living in my purpose (📸 by @l_c_visuals)

More shots from @avantblk 🤎🙌🏾✨

I’m finally starting to see the growth in my confidence & presence on stage🥹 I used to be (and sometimes still am) so critical of myself… “this note didn’t sound right”… “I should’ve done this instead” etc. But I’m learning that seeking “perfection” can limit my freedom and expression. I am authentically me, and I’m really starting to embrace that🫶🏾 And being surrounded by bandmates/friends who bring their own energy, passion, and love into the music makes me appreciate these moments even more🫂

Yo!
What y'all doin tonight?
Pullin up to @imperfectgallery ?
Bet!
Meet me there!
Let's celebrate & sendoff @julian.hartwell.official right!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
🎶🎹🎤🎶🎹🎤🎶🎹🎤🎶🎹🎤

Alright y’all, since we’re 24 hours from showtime, it’s time to announce the official line-up for Hartwell & Voice, 2.0, AKA my official send-off show and FUNdraiser for my impending move to Canada!! 📣

.

Without further ado, we will feature myself on keys (duh) with an epic cadre of local talent: 🥁 🥁🥁

Elijah B. Pringle @elijahpringle3 - Vocals 🎤

Braylynn Nahja @braylynn_nahja - Vocals 🎤

Lousy “the Empress” St Vil @stviltheempress - Vocals 🎤

Jacqueline Brooks @421_just_jackie_ - Vocals 🎤

Stephanie Cole (maybe!?) @stephco_media - Vocals 🎤

& the newest additions, who I am greatly excited to have join us:

EyeRis EeLayNah @eye.ris.ee.lay.nah 🎤

& Montari Johnson @montarijohnson 🎤

& very likely a few special guest, last minute surprises too, of course 👀

. . .

Woo! What a Showcase! At the risk of sounding dramatic, this show WILL be a culmination, a capstone, a completion of a major karmic and cosmic chapter of my Philadelphian, very musically-enriched incarnation.

.

And last but not least, hosted by my dear friends Renny & Rocio of @imperfectgallery who have provided the supportive space in the heart of Germantown for me and so many others creative pursuits, time and time again…

With eternal grateful for these friends, collaborators & community - let’s send it off in STYLE!!!

.

Get Thee here Tomorrow, friends!! ☝🏻🎙️🎉🎶🙌🏻
