🚨 ACE PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Welcome Adam Cherkin | 2028 | Montclair | Leading Edge to the Advanced College Experience.

Cherkin is a steady, disciplined defender who plays with excellent positioning and rarely puts himself in bad spots. His consistency on the defensive end has earned him recognition as a 2028 player to watch in NJ.

Adam has been playing varsity lacrosse at Montclair since his freshman year and appeared in 16 varsity games as a sophomore. He also competes with a high-level Leading Edge 2028 group that went 21-4-1 in 2026.

Positioning. Discipline. Consistency. Reliability.

Adam is the type of defender who understands his job, competes within the system and can be trusted possession after possession.

Exactly the type of player we want competing on the ACE field.

Train with the coaches. Learn from them. Compete in front of them.

Wooster 31’

I am truly honored and blessed to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at The College of Wooster!

First, I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity, always guiding me through my faith and helping me become the person I am today.

Most importantly I would like to thank my family. Without them, none of this would have been possible. I am so grateful for all the love, support, and sacrifices they have given me throughout my life and throughout my lacrosse journey.

I would also like to thank Coach Diehl, Coach Von, and everyone at @montclairlacrosse for teaching me the game and helping me grow both on and off the field. I am also incredibly thankful to @riot.lacrosse for helping me reach this level.

I want to give a special thank you to some of the Montclair Lacrosse alumni who have mentored me and helped me reach the next level: Konrad Miklaszewski @konradmikla , TR Branski, @tr.branski and Luca Ward @lucaaward3 .

Next, I want to give a huge thank you to Roman Miklaszewski @romanmiklaszewski . You have always pushed me to work harder, believed in me, and reminded me that I was capable of achieving great things. I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for me.

Finally, I would like to thank Coach Seideman, Coach Pille, and the entire @wooster_lacrosse program for believing in me and giving me this amazing opportunity. I am incredibly excited for what the future holds and cannot wait to get to work!

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. I am so grateful for all of you.

I can’t believe I’m making this post. I’ve lived in Montclair for 15/16 years of my life and it’s the only home I’ve ever known. I’ve met amazing people and have made incredible connections here.

The past 2 years at Montclair High School have been amazing. Everyone in the athletics department was so welcoming, and all of the athletes I’ve worked with have been incredible. I truly loved working with everyone.
Off to bigger and different opportunities in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Thank you everyone!
