📚 Book Update: God Sees Everything: Tyson’s Playdate!!!

After I wrote God Sees Everything: Tyson’s Playdate, I used AI-generated illustrations to bring the story to life. After sharing the book with several readers, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. However, one comment from Harold Lee Jr. stuck with me. “A professional illustrator could take the book to the next level.”

After much prayer and consideration, I knew that was the direction I wanted to go.

This collaboration marks an important step forward for the God Sees Everything™ series. My goal has always been to create high-quality, faith-filled stories that help children understand God’s love, presence, and care in their everyday lives. Working with a dedicated illustrator will help bring these characters and lessons to life in a truly special way.

I’m excited to announce that I have partnered with Anabella Herrera to create the illustrations for God Sees Everything: Tyson’s Playdate.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged this project. I can’t wait to share the new artwork and continue bringing this story to life.

Wowza! I will do my best to tag all the artists soon but for now, just posting! Blue and I saw a car accident happen just a short block in front of us earlier today, the noise of the impact was very scary and had us both on edge for a bit. She also fell off a high curb when stepping down which made my heart hurt, but she was totally fine! At this point, I’m just trying to survive this fucking shit show of a year! Anyway, enjoy the dope murals! ;) 🎨 🖌️ @calledoscinco #art #murals #mercuryretrograde #shitshow #artists #art #localart #okc #oklahoma #capitolhill #oklahomacity #colorful #wow #architechture #oldbuildingphotography #muralphotography #muralchasers #love #fall #autumn #november #bluesky #brick #calledoscinco #oklahomalife #therapy #outdoors #exploring

I’ve had the opportunity to sit and soak in Herencia: De Aquí y De Allá.

I’m eternally grateful for the committee members that volunteered their time and skills to help me bring this vision to life for the community! They made connections with others and invited them to join us for Herencia, they helped me see things from different perspectives, and they stepped up when it felt easiest to give up.

Herencia continues to grow each year and with that.. we had nearly TWENTY sponsorships!! People in the community who believed in Herencia’s mission and what it stands for. They supported my dream of bringing art and culture to the southside, giving Latine folks a space to network, share their art, stories, and come out from this event with confidence, experience and tools that they can use in the future! ✨

The community came together with their support, curiosity, and enthusiasm! So many people expressed they’ve never experienced an art exhibition that is showcased like this. It often reminds them of home! There’s nothing more rewarding than that. 🥹 Y’all also sold me out on t-shirts and hoodies within the first hour.. this means I only have to stock up more for next year! 😋

Herencia will continue to grow and I can’t wait to see what 2026 holds in store for us. Thank you for believing in Herencia and always supporting. 🌱
Mil gracias por todo! ✨
