Photography has always been an escape. My love for the arts started early. Drawing, writing, poetry. But it wasn’t until my freshman year of high school that I fell in love with the camera. Something about being able to save a moment and return to the same feeling later. Life took me down roads where I learned to move away from verbalizing what I felt. Photography gave me another way. It let me say what I couldn’t and feel what I couldn’t articulate. That’s still what it does. What’s changed is the direction. Twenty years behind a lens. Darkrooms. Streets. Strangers. Food. Fashion. The through line across all of it has been atmosphere. I was never drawn to the studio or artificial light. I wanted to use what was already there and make someone feel what I felt when I was standing in it. Hospitality photography found me because of that. In an elevated hotel room or a thoughtfully designed space, you can feel the intention behind every decision. Being an artist at my core means I connect with what a space is trying to say. And then I try to say it back. Today I’m introducing @moodovermarketing. Hospitality and travel photography that captures atmosphere, not ads. This is the work I was always meant to be doing. #moodovermarketing #hospitalityphotography #interiorphotographer #luxuryairbnb #boutiquehoteldesign

Villa Encanto has been welcoming guests to our 1930s Spanish Revival estate in Long Beach for over a year — and we've loved every moment of it. Now it's time to finally show up on the 'gram. 6 King Suites. 5 Designer Baths. A courtyard made for memories. A Speakeasy for late nights. And a soul that's been here since 1935. This is Villa Encanto. We're so glad you found us. 🌺 📍 Long Beach, CA 🔗 Link in bio to book
