Aquestes Fires, tu tries com brindar! Ja has tastat el Siset 0,0? 🍹

Kids playing at the beach, sunrises, coastal hikes, and European summer night walks. We took cover at Mooma apple cidery during a thunderstorm and ended up having our best meal of the trip — and Sofie ate her first solid food: apples.

The most memorable meal we had during our weekend trip to Costa Brava was hands down at this apple orchard where they make their own juice, cider, vinegar and liquor. Their group menu comes with a massive selection of their best selling starters like spanish tortillas with txistorras, green apple pesto salad, sardine toast, cod fritters, squid croquetas and classic pan con tomate. Of course the menu came with drinks which we had a choice of wine or their house apple cider or juice. Which is nice they had an alcohol-free option. The croquettes and fritters were extra creamy and I was honestly already halfway full but we still have all of the mains to get through. There was oven baked cod apple, grilled lamb ribs, an entire grilled turbot, braised lamb shanks with truffle aioli and grilled monkfish with bell peppers and eggplant. There was so much food we legitimately couldn't finish it all. The food was impeccable and our server Anna was so attentive and and helped us navigate what to order since the menu was so extensive. As for dessert, before which I had to go for a walk to digest since there was so much food, we got pretty much all of the apple dessert options: Apple tart tan apple crumble apple xuixo, which is a local donut pastry that comes with a walnut liqueur and a carrot cake and pistachio tiramisu. Did I mention tea and coffee comes included too? Needless to say, we were stuffed to the brim. Exceptionally good food value service and ambience. What more could you want. Cookie was very jealous of us but sat quietly the whole 3 hour dinner.
