Episode 6: Hugh Scobie : MEDEA

Hugh held it down for us this afternoon, easing us into the weekend. Some beautiful tunes, from Tibetan folk to deep, expansive dub, blended artfully. Thank you MEDEA.

Curator at Subvert, DJ and selector as Medea, and one half of Ancient World's directorship, Hugh seeks to move social, cultural and musical boundaries forward and engender a supportive, inclusive music scene where mutual respect and radical expression co-exist and thrive.

SPOTLIGHT CALL OUT
mindshare works alongside a wide range of artists and musicians from the community – historically those living with complex mental health challenges, who’ve identified expressive arts or storytelling as an important tool in their recovery journey.

Through our “Artist Spotlights” we provide a platform for these talented creatives to showcase their work and share what we know to be important stories.

Do you know a skilled creative with lived experience? Nominate them to be spotlighted on mindshare!

DM us here, or email at mindshare@mhcsa.org.au

Remember, “artist” doesn’t have to mean practising professional, exhibiting, touring, or making an income - we love finding out about emerging creatives 😊

NOTE: Not everyone wants their lived experience disclosed to the wider public or mindshare team. Please check with artists before nominating.

Nominees from gender diverse, sexually diverse, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and First Nations creatives encouraged.
