Today my beautiful client came in for a complete blondeing! The purple was left over color from a purple conditioning mask that got stuck in my clients hair but no worries it came right out!💗

I really didn’t expect this birthday to turn into what it did. It was so last minute and I lowkey convinced myself it was going to be small or that people wouldn’t show up which I understood cus it was SO last minute. I just had deleted all my public social media and kinda fell off the face of the earth so I wouldn’t have been surprised if nobody responded to my invite.

And then everyone proved me so wrong.

Seeing everyone come through for me meant more than I can explain. I’ve been in my head a lot this year, and I didn’t realize how much I needed that reminder of how much love and support I actually have around me. I was literally crying half the night (happy tears).

It was so fun watching friends who have never even been to a kava bar trying tea for the first time at @beansandrootskava , sitting and talking with my friends who’ve been in the kava community forever. And then my newer kava buddies coming and mingling with the vets… it felt really special. Like my different worlds colliding in the best way.

I don’t know, something about seeing all the people I care about in one room, connecting with each other, just meant everything to me.

It wasn’t about anything fancy — it was just being surrounded by people who chose to be there. That’s what made it the best birthday I’ve ever had.

I genuinely can’t thank everyone enough. You made me feel so seen and so loved. I won’t EVER forget that.

Also a quick shout out to my perfect boyfriend for always finding a way, you are the best thing that’s ever happened to me🤍✨
