While making Sammy's Taylor Swift Journal, I rediscovered my love of scrapbooking. Digging around for layout inspiration, I found this thing called Junk Journaling. Sammy and I have now done 3 gift journals. I finally started my journal, and the amazing art of my friend Amanda was the inspiration. @moonlightningdesigns is her artist page. I ordered stickers of my favorite pieces from her RedBubble account. Here are the first 2 pages. The white border has been cut away from the stickers. Worth the extra time. Amanda's art is detail heavy, and I am discovering things missed before. #junkjournal #junkjournaling #artjournals #artjournaling #stickerart #collageart #collage #tortoise #tortoiseandthehare #tortoiseart #tortoisedrawing #dragons #dragonart #dragondrawing #sammystreatshop

Day 2 with the water shut off, and we survived. The problem faucet in the kitchen finally busted. Just my luck, the water shut off below the sink stopped working. Our plumber is coming tomorrow, bumped up from the original Saturday appointment. The house has a cut off on the front porch. David turned it back on for showers and to run the washer. I cleaned the kitchen, refilled the cold-brew tea bottles, and refilled water jugs and buckets. Not sure how people did this for weeks following the Feb snow storm. Ending the day with a wonderful tea suggested by a friend. Hot tea soothes the nerves and helps relax the muscle and joint pain. Love the notes on Yogi tea bags. This one is "You are equally as beautiful as the universe." #kevinmurphy #kevinmurphyproducts #kevinmurphycoffeecup #coffeecup #hottea #yogitea #yogistressrelief #stressrelief #relaxing #selfcare #chronicpain #painrelief #naturalpainrelief
