WestFest 19 Performer Feature: Moonmill 🌙

Moonmill is a folk pop duo built on sophisticated guitar lines and rich, crystal clear vocal harmonies. Our songs blend classic Simon & Garfunkel-esque folk sensibilities with contemporary singer-songwriter confessional lyricism to create immersive stories. Whether we’re writing about climate change, Little Women, or bad dates, we see songwriting as an antidote to loneliness and a catalyst for change.

✨ Catch their performance on our secondary stage on Sept 19th at 2:15pm in Westerleigh Park on Staten Island! ✨

🎶 Are you looking for local NYC shows to see local artists live?? Here are a bunch that are coming up THIS WEEK!! Nearly all shows have multiple folks performing, and a LOT of them are music release shows! Soooo many this week, I’ll probably have to post a separate thing for all the weekend shows 😳
🎶Tickets and additional information for these shows can be found on the artists’ profiles! (tagged)

@Moonmillband comes to The Ark this Friday, August 7 with special guest @maddy_ringo!

Nine years after meeting in high school choir class in Ann Arbor, Mary Collins and Kaye Hamada accidentally moved two blocks away from each other in Brooklyn and realized that the songwriting partners they’d been looking for had been one text away all along.

🎟️ Grab your tickets now at the 🔗 Link in Bio.

🎶 In case you missed THE LAST week on BROOKLYN BUZZ, here’s what played! Lots of fantastic recent releases, upcoming shows to promote, and beloved bands both new and returning to WPIR’s radio waves! I’m super late to posting about these mid-April plays, but I didn’t want them to get forgotten :)
🎶Reminder that I am currently off-air, so this is the last post like this that you will see for a while. BUT keep your eyes out for interviews, new music spotlights, and many live show shoutouts!!

🎶 I record all my shows, just reach out to me if you’re interested in having/listening to the recording!
🎶 You can also check this info out on brooklyn-buzz.com! 🩵
