~thanks so much to everyone who came by! i heard some very sweet adoption stories & a couple kitties were picked up to go to their new home!🥲vendor lineup was amazing and it was so good to meet everyone & see some familiar faces too💕

Come out to @urbanrestbrewing this Sunday 9/13 from 2-6 pm for our annual Meow Market. We have 10 amazing local makers joining us this year, and as always, we’ll have lots of adoptable kitties for you to meet (and adopt 👀).

Click the link in our bio and submit an adoption app ahead of time and get preapproved for adoption! That means if you meet a kitty on Sunday and fall in love, you can take them home with you from the event 😻

The event is also BYOC: bring your own cat. Cats must remain outside, either in a backpack/stroller or wearing a harness

Shop from local makers, grab a drink, and meet cats! Meow Market is back @urbanrestbrewing on Sunday September 13th from 2-6 pm. We’ll have adoptable cats ready to meet you outside, and drinks and our amazing makers inside for you to shop from. There are some familiar faces who are joining as makers again, and some new friends joining us for the first time.

🐱 We don’t do same day adoptions. BUT you can fill out an adoption app ahead of time and get pre-approved. So if you meet a cat and fall in love at the event, you can take them home that day

🐈 You’re welcome to bring your own cat in a stroller or on a harness and leash. Cats must remain outside!

Goldenrod’s pollen grains aren’t carried by the wind; they’re carried by bees. 🐝

It’s often confused with ragweed which is definitely what’s making you sneeze about now in SE Michigan.

I forget how much I LOVE using this in arrangements until it comes back into season each year. Nature’s magical fireworks!

Goldenrod grown by @moonybloomflower . All other blooms and foliage grown here in my little flower sanctuary. 💛

The last two arrangements were given to two lovely folks for Bouquet-it-Forward thanks to the generosity of @chr_st_n_b again this season. 🙏

When a glaze breaks it’s a good thing!

Not all glazes do this, but I personally love the ones that do. It adds visual interest to any texture on the piece but doesn’t affect the functionality.

I used a lot of Love in a Puff vine in this one and have no regrets. 🌬️

My dahlias are trickling in now. 🌸

Some summer subscription arrangements and the first two of the bouquet-it-forward jars (thanks to the generosity of @chr_st_n_b 🙏) were delivered this morning.

@moonybloomflower had some lisianthus available to mix in this week, too!

It all adds up to a whole lot of flower magic. ✨✨✨

I picked up some locally-grown peonies from @moonybloomflower today, and they smell amazing! 🌸

I’m doing special delivery days this week Monday 6/8 and Tuesday 6/9 to get them into your hands asap so you can enjoy them all week.

As the temps climb higher, we’re ushering out the peonies, Baptisia, Geum, and cress, and welcoming in the yarrow, feverfew, Clarkia, Dianthus and more. It’s such a beautiful transition. 💐

Decorating for all the holidays & seasons isn’t my personal vibe, BUT I do love a dried flower moment to carry me into the off season.

Official fall starts on Monday. Local folks, get with Ruth @moonybloomflower if you need a flower fix that will last until spring (and beyond!) and can be composted when it’s time. 💚
