I interviewed Mustafa Dannett about a moment that made him realize there was more to life than Sports and he discussed a teammate being stretched off the field mid game and how this moment caused the whole team to pause and understand that while the sport was great, it’s not all that there was to life and that they needed tobe grateful for the chance to play and not take the opportunity for granted

I interviewed Mustafa Dannett about the legacy he’d like to leave behind if he could only be remembers outside of sports. He noted that he wanted to leave his mark as an individual who was genuine and always tried to uplift people, and he backed up his words with actions by discussing the youth camp he hosted May 4th for the youth in New London, Connecticut. Safe to say Mustafa is already headed down the right track!💯

They did EXPERT!!!!!!!! Took them under 30m to do the intermediate in the front.

Took them one hour to do expert! "You didn't even watch us...!!!" Me: "i heard you two..." lol

The smiles and laughter was contagious!!!!!!

Had one of the workers help me and @jaimesanchez5746 encourage one to, "just go!!! Wrestling has taught you so much! You all are at a pivotal time in your life... YOU GOT THIS!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!" When they ask, "are you sure it's ok?!" You shove all the doubt way down, even though fear stops so many of us to not go forward, and TAKE THAT FIRST STEP.

So proud of these "not boys". These young men had so much fun!

Meet my other "small children". My little baby Moose, Anthony and my real one!

Wrestling brought these 3 together!!!!!! It is a family. Never count out the power of a wrestling family/community.

I love these guys more than anything. They are fun. They are kind. They are gentlemen. They are everything! Seeing Xeriah and Moose seeing each other for the first time in forever almost brought tears to my eyes. During wrestling season, they are rival schools. In my heart, they are just my guys..

Love the fact these guys act and behave like no time has passed...
