Thankful for another blessed journey in the Mooselands. When everyone quits, we endure. You gotta be built different to hike in the heat, bugs and bushes. Every shed is earned with persistence!!! #mooseman #mooselands #shedteam #magicmike.

On the latest adventure in the @mooselands we had the blessing of earning a yearling cow moose’s trust. She ate maple leaves for 10 minutes as I slowly raked a tree with an antler I was holding up to my head. The moose realized I was not a threat so she curiously approached me. Showing no signs of aggression she walked up and simply got my scent. When she got too close I raked the tree with more force than I have throughout the entire interaction. The moose immediately understood and backed off, not of fear but out of respect. As she walked off she licked her lips, basically meaning I aggravated her a bit 😅. I shooed her off in the end hoping she learns to stay off the roads a bit more.

Enjoy the video and remember to always remain at a safe distance from wildlife, do not touch them and do not feed them!
