To reiterate just how illogical and uninformed your claim is: suggesting that Harlem simply “merged or assimilated” with Oakland completely erases the entirely separate foundation and organizational structure built by Max Stanford and RAM. Max Stanford’s network functioned under a fundamentally different structure, rooted in underground (semi-clandestine) cadre organizing and tactical political strategy rather than Oakland’s highly publicized, top-down paramilitary model. To claim a merger occurred ignores the reality that these were distinct IDEOLOGICAL entities from the start. And nowhere in the article that was sourced was the word merger or assimilated or its synonym or derivative used.

And now for the Shakur Family Legacy (not the same faction in Harlem as Max Stanford) that you are attempting to ERASE!

So that we are fully clear, the “East Coast vs. West Coast” beef did not begin with hip-hop in the 1990s.

The rift put the West Coast leadership directly at odds with the East Coast chapters, a conflict that famously culminated in the targeting of the New York Panther 21 which includes Tupac’s mother. Afeni Shakur along with others were arrested in 1969 on trumped-up federal conspiracy charges. The Oakland leadership failed to properly support them. Instead of standing in solidarity during the longest political trial in New York history, Huey Newton and the West Coast central committee viewed the New York branch’s AUTONOMY and militant underground ties as a threat, eventually expelling them from the national party. This historical BETRAYAL laid the foundational groundwork for a coast-to-coast animosity that the Shakur family lived through long before Biggie and Tupac were ever a factor.

💔 “DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOU’RE STILL MISSED?” — TUPAC SHAKUR 🕊️

🎙️ Speak Up Podcast featuring Mopreme Shakur!

If you could sit down with Tupac today, what would you ask him? 👀

For Mopreme Shakur, it might come down to one simple but powerful question:

“Do you know how much you’re still missed?” 💔

This goes beyond music, fame, and legacy. It’s about the people we lose, the conversations we never get to have, and the questions that stay with us long after someone is gone.

Some legends never truly leave us. Their words, their impact, and their presence continue to live on through generations.

🕊️ Tupac may be gone, but his name still carries emotion, meaning, and memories for millions around the world.

👇 YOUR TURN: If you could ask Tupac ONE question today, what would it be?

💭 Drop your answer in the comments. Let’s talk!

My thoughts on the Keefe D sentencing are less about Keefe D himself and more about the opportunity to hear Tupac’s sister speak,to hear her express the heart and soul of who her brother was.

That was emotional for me. Nostalgic. And personally healing. Hearing about his smile, his laugh, how he was raised, and what he meant to family and community brought me back to the person behind the legend. Her words reminded us that before the world knew Tupac, he was somebody’s son, somebody’s brother, and a child born into a struggle that would shape his life.

For me, that was the most meaningful part of this whole ordeal: giving the world a chance to hear about him through someone who knew and loved him deeply. I hope speaking those words brought us some healing, just as hearing them brought something meaningful to those who loved him.

Hearing her speak about him feeling like “Black Jesus” really stayed with me. It made me reflect on how prophetic his vision was, what he intended his life to mean, and how people around the world understand and carry his spirit today.

I really can’t say enough about what that testimony meant to me.

Thank you for representing bro the way you did, sis. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you . Tupac’s humanity, his purpose, and his love for his people deserve to remain at the center of his story. #TupacShakur #Set #AfeniShakur #MutuluShakur #ZaydMalik💚❤️🖤
