Photos that changed my brain chemistry 🫶

I just wanted a creative way to dump a bunch of random photos and this was the best way I found. I absolutely have loved every wedding and shoot I’ve done this year and these photos here are some of my most recent ones that really changed the way I viewed shooting, posing, and prompting

So excited to apply some of these styles and poses to all the wonderful weddings later this year 😊

MY FAVORITE PHOTOS FROM 2025🎉
.
.
.
This year completely changed my business more than I ever thought.
I finally picked a style and honed in on weddings and couples
That gave me a freedom I never knew I needed, a financial but also emotional freedom

This year completely blew last year out of the water in literally every way and I couldn’t be happier about it.

None of it would’ve been possible without the support of all of the clients, friends, family, other photographers, and so much more.

I’m so grateful and so excited for 2026, which is already shaping up to be my greatest year yet.

I will make 2025 look small by this time next year, I said if last year and I proved it, and I will do so again, God willing

I am grateful for all of you, thank you thank you thank YOU!

Why you should book your dream wedding photographer⬇️
.
.
.
Booking a photographer is not as simple as filling up your gas tank, scheduling a hair cut, or ordering something on amazon, it’s not just a transaction. It shouldn’t be anyways but for so many people it is treated that way… here’s why you shouldn’t

The person you choose to capture your wedding should be someone who you trust, enjoy being around, and can truly envision yourself in their work. You get one day, one chance at this, you should make sure it’s captured in a way that reflects you share with your partner.

You will have these photos for the rest of your life. Your goal when choosing a photographer should be to find someone who can help you relive, and recreate those memories 10, 15, and even 50 years later. You will show these photos to your KIDS and your GRANDCHILDREN!!! You need to make sure these are photographs that will last GENERATIONS. A good and even great photographer will make sure that your memories are timeless and remembered forever, not just for a couple years.

Your dream photographer isn’t focused solely on trends, they are focused on you, they are your friend and they are there with one goal in mind: capture you in an authentic way and in way that empowers comfortability and confidence. They want to capture memories that are not only soulful, and emotional, but memories and moments that are timeless.

INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE MEMORIES. This is not an electric bill, or a gas bill, this is an INVESTMENT IN YOUR MEMORIES.

Make sure you get a good return and you’re happy with the results years later

My entire portfolio changed when I did this ⬇️

Coming from someone who for the longest time tried to follow all of the traditional “rules” that there are in photography; I promise you it’s okay to ignore them sometimes

They exist for a reason and you will always take a “good” photo following those rules

What if though, you could take a GREAT photo if you just listened to yourself

Make it blurry, don’t be so scared of night photography, make it grainy, shoot at 2pm, use flash in the day time, whatever

I finally shifted my business from trying to tell the story I thought everyone wanted me to tell with my photos; to telling MY STORY through MY PHOTOS

I had opportunities in the past but then I’d get scared and bail on it cause it “wasn’t like anything I’d posted before”

Here’s a word of advice: if you wanna shoot and edit in a certain style, SHOOT AND EDIT IN THAT STYLE!

Don’t forget that this is your portfolio and world you’re building, feel free to create it however you want.

Your clients will thank you and you will thank yourself

Kaitlyn and Matt’s Chicago Photos ❤️🏙️!
.
.
.
These were so worth the 3 hour trip to Chicago!!
I loved running around Chicago with these two! They’re so kind and Abby and I had an absolute blast capturing their beautiful love all over Windy City!
I loved incorporating more of that blurry, grainy, film style with these! I can’t wait to capture their wedding in Wisconsin next year!!
