The best teachers are those who show you where to look but don’t tell you what to see.

Training #343 @axelsonder_

I drive an hour to Drummoyne at 6.30 every Tuesday morning for Training. One of the best parts of my week.

Full room today. Ethan from Bondi. Charlie from Chatswood. Mark from Chatswood. Cooper from Neutral Bay. Dane from Drummoyne. Athan, from Drummoyne . Raf from Dee Why. And Joey, who I’ve known since he was 12.

Nobody was over 21 & non of them have been cutting for more than two or three years.

We worked a square line with convex layers. Haircut two of five in the end of year program. Focusing on natural fall, section angles, & predictable movements.

Sixteen years of knowledge, and the job now is to condense it into one sentence that a 19 year old can use tomorrow.

Staff training #341

We had a lot of fresh faces at the Drummoyne session. This is our biggest and youngest training group.

This session was focused on the fundamentals, repeatable predictable movements that’ll lead to a predictable result.

You are not only paying for my haircut. You are paying for the advice I’m going to give you. So why not take it.

Chatswood has put in their claim for SOTY 2026 & 2027.

We wonder what the other shops have to say about this?
