The Golden Tigers finish the AAC Conference Championship in 5th place! That is the highest finish at Conference since 2021! Brenau finished with three in the top 26 and as always were paced by Sr. Morela Boyd. “I am so happy with the fight this team showed in finishing 5th! I cant wait to see what this team can do in the future!!” — @coach_elam

Happy last tournament round to one of the best to ever wear the black and gold…. Morela!! Morela is tied for the most individual wins at Brenau and has 12 top ten finishes in just two years with the Golden Tigers while also serving as captain for the past season. @coach_elam says “No one embodies the true spirt of Brenau like Morela. She has been one of if not the best to ever play for the Golden Tigers and more importantly she has grown into a phenomenal person and leader. I can say without any doubt we will never have another Morela.” After graduation on Friday she will be moving to Virginia to join her fiance Noah and will be working as an assistant golf professional at a high end private club. No matter where life takes you you’ll always be a Golden Tiger 🐯🐯🐯 @brenauathletics

As we lead up to graduation, today we spotlight our star athlete sister Morela Boyd! Morela will be graduating with a Business Management Degree and her plans after walking that stage are to “move to Virginia, start her new job, get married to her fiancé, eat a TON of hotpot, and SLEEP!” During her time in Tridelta she’s held the role of Director of First Year Experience. When asked about her time in the chapter she said “Coming to Brenau I was a junior transfer. I knew no one and had nothing going on besides golf and classes. This being my 4th school since 2020 I honestly had no intention of clouding my days with extra events. In fact, from the start of college I never thought I would join a sorority. But one day I decided to come to a Tri Delta social event. I never imagined that weeks later I would have found such an amazing group of friends. Friends that are now more like sisters. Through this journey was short, I have felt welcomed and loved in a place unfamiliar to me. I would say the highlight of my experience in this chapter can’t be defined into a singular moment. But instead by all the little moments in between. The sleepovers, the movie nights, the laughter, the songs. As much as I act like I’m glad to be a senior I know I will miss this era of girlhood. DLAM 🩵🩵🩵.” We love you so deeply Morela and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! Congratulations Mother Pearl, DLAM! 🩵🔱
