When I tell you I am sooooo grateful! @deardeanndra had less than two months to plan this and I was nervous that we weren’t going to pull it off, but we did 🙌🏽
.
Our goal was to help at least 30 girls and we did just that, plus more. The purpose of this event was to make sure our youth feel confident when they step into prom night and safe during their after prom plans.
.
We had a fun engaging icebreaker activity to get to know the girls, a session on how to build confidence, beauty tips from local professionals, wardrobe styling tips, how to live a soft life, gave free dresses and beauty services. To those who shared our event, and donated their time, dresses, products, and skills, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. A time was had, but the impact was made. It brought me back to my room memories and I wish I had something like this back then 🥹
.
But my board and I enjoyed this and will definitely be planning to do it again 💕thank you soooooo much to everyone who played a part. I can’t wait to see our professional video recap!
