So, I had a recital! Back in March, so this is a hilariously late post. But I am so grateful to everyone who helped me put it together. I couldn't have done it without my wonderful pianist and coach, Kenneth Merrill, my friends and fellow actors: Izzy, Mina, and Mayu, my parents (especially my dad, who transcribed a baritone song set into a higher key so I could sing it) and everyone who supported this crazy endeavor. This project was easily one of the most difficult things I've ever done and I pulled it together in about 12 weeks which should have been impossible. But by some miracle, we made it happen. I was feeling very disheartened and disillusioned while I got this recital ready, but it was through this process that I found my hope again. I am so grateful that I was able to leave my time at Manhattan School of Music on a high note because of all the people who believed in me and came out to support me. It meant the world to me, it still means the world to me, and I am endlessly grateful to you all. (P.S., I will be posting actual videos from my recital soon, I promise, just hang tight)

Still thinking about Tuesday’s amazing opening night of the season! Such an incredible energy, and combine it with today’s exciting announcement of the partnership between the city and the Met, and we are off to quite a start!

And, of course, it was wonderful to share that night with Tanya! Always special to get dressed up and share this time with her!
