People-to-people diplomacy in action. 🇰🇬🤝🏼🇦🇷 We only met yesterday, yet today we were already trekking the trails of Ala-Archa together. Mountains are the ultimate filter for people; here, it becomes instantly clear who is on your wavelength. I can say with confidence: I’ve met true like-minded spirits. My new brothers from another mothers! 🤜🏼🤛🏼 Tobi and Pedro brought more than just their national drink from Argentina - they brought a whole philosophy of unity. We held an authentic mate ritual right against the backdrop of our glaciers. It’s one thing to study traditions and history in books, but quite another to share them through live connection. There is a special aesthetic to the bombilla - the traditional filtered straw used to drink mate. In this ritual, it serves as a symbol of trust: when you share a single calaba and one bombilla among everyone, any cultural barriers vanish. This bold flavor and positive energy are exactly what is needed to strengthen the bonds between people. For friendship and a common cause, distances of thousands of kilometers do not exist when you share the same values and mutual respect. ¡Gracias, hermanos! Thank you for this experience and for the reminder that the world is much smaller and friendlier than it seems.
