Getting that balance between being grateful and still wanting more for yourself has always been something I’ve struggled to navigate but I think recently I’ve found a pretty good balance. I don’t place all my happiness in future destinations or achievements - I try to live in the moment as much as possible and practice gratitude daily 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I have goals and plans but I also allow life to flow and take me places that may be unexpected or unplanned. I find life is just more exiting that way, plus sometimes what we think we want right now, might not be what us in 5 years still wants. Sometimes, life needs to take us down twists and turns to teach us lessons or expand our mindset. And tbh, I’m here for the journey, I’m down for the random side quests, I’m open to trying something new and I don’t wait to be happy anymore… I’m happy right here, right now with everything I have and I look forward to continuing to be happy with everything that comes my way in the future 🙌🏽🩷

A little reminder for today 🌊 Get out of your head and into the moment. You don’t have to have everything figured out to enjoy where you are right now.

Take the deep breath. Put your phone down. Soak it in. 🤍 You’re here. And that’s enough.

Sometimes we need to make room for future blessings, each chapter in our book has something to offer us and when we stop and appreciate what we have it brings us so much peace, you can’t be grateful and ungrateful at the same time, so always be grateful 🙌🏽💫💯

We spend so much time planning for tomorrow or analyzing yesterday. Your presence is the greatest gift you can give yourself (and others). Don’t miss the present moment for a past or future that isn’t here yet. 🌸 #presentmoment #mindfulness #getoutyourhead #lovetheride #selfcare

I might not always like her, but I always, always love her 🫶🏼❤️‍🩹 just a little mid-week reminder that you are worthy of all the love you give to others. Give some to yourself too 😘
