Feeling a little emotional after going to my last appointment @artstsalon. So here I am reminiscing on how much of a hair journey I’ve taken with the lovely @morgan_moreno.

Moved here in 2021 and felt it was time for a change. Just had a baby about 6 months prior, trying to find myself again. For years I’ve been straight ice cold blond, praying I never see an ounce of warmth but something in me just wanted to go out of my comfort zone. Morgan I am forever thankful for helping me dip my toes into darker waters and helping me find a color that felt right to me. You’ve been so gentle with my progressions making it easier as I went to deeper. As beautiful as the blonde was, I felt that it didn’t match my personal growth. Over the years I wanted to slow down and accept myself for who I was, so going back to my roots was the key.

Now here we are 4 years later, dark as can be, extension free, rocking a hidden lob from growibg out an undercut, and happier than ever. Stepping out of my comfort zone and became more accepting of myself by doing less was the best decision I’ve ever made. I didn’t need the highlights, the dimension , the added row to feel my best. I was thriving in simplicity so I said goodbye to the sun and hello to being a moon 🖤

Wish you @ryleysidles all the best at your salon and look forward to see you both again on my trips back and hopefully Ohio.
