took me a few days to recover from this one.

5am for barricade. @jess_beatz took a pic of my poster and showed it to tyler and josh backstage, then came back and told me they loved it.

then my friends and i somehow ended up on the screen during raw fear.

and as josh walked offstage after the show, he gave me a thumbs up.

still don’t know how i’m supposed to top this one.

shoutout to @sophia.s.lutke for the barricade video. Clip of the year right there 👌🏼

What a year it has been. This year certainly was a year of trials. But there was also a lot of joy had this year as well. Many concerts, trips, and weddings. It was hard to fit this whole year in only 10 photos 😂 but these sort of incapsulate the year.

A big theme and struggle of this year was processing change. The change of my own life and friends lives. The change in my own life being leaving Chick-Fil-A after 5 years of working there and starting a year long Residency at my church focused on student ministry. And processing the change in my friend’s lives as they get married and move to a different stage of life.

Now something I have had to run back to constantly is knowing that the Lord works all things together for our good and His glory. That’s the only true and unchanging thing that I can cling to. When I am beat down, His love never fails. When I am mourning, His love never fails. When I am alone, His love never fails. When I am angry, His love never fails. I appreciate and love my friends, community, and all of the people in my life so much, but ultimately the Lord is the only one I have on Earth and in Heaven. He is the eternal, all powerful, good shepherd who leads me beside still waters, who comforts me when my soul is downcast.

“Who do I have in heaven but you? And I desire nothing in earth but you. My heart and flesh may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, my portion forever”
Psalms 73:25-26

Here’s to 2025 and trusting in the Lord no matter what this next year looks like 🍾
