Hyrox NYC 2026 🤍

For us, 2026 was all about saying yes more and stepping outside of our comfort zones, which isn’t always easy.

We’re so proud of what we accomplished. We put in so much time, effort, and hard work leading up to this race. It was one of the most physically challenging things we’ve ever done, but also one of the most rewarding!

So grateful we got to experience it together ❤️ #hyrox #hyroxnyc #hyrox2026

Sharing another chapter of my book once upon a time I survived myself 💌🪞

Some people don’t need a reason to show up. They just do.
This chapter of my book, The Girls Who Stayed, is for them the ones who loved me when I thought I was too much, the ones who stayed when life felt heavy, the ones who reminded me that softness isn’t something I have to hide.

To my girls some long-distance, some close enough to hug whenever I need—it’s because of you that I know what real love looks like. The kind that doesn’t demand perfection, only presence. The kind that hears “I’m fine” and stays anyway. The kind that changes you.

If you’re reading this, I hope you know you’re part of that quiet army of souls who saved me in ways you may never realize. You are proof that people like this exist.

And if you don’t have those girls yet, I promise they’re coming.
They will find you.

And when they do—please, let them stay.

If you’re reading this: I love you. 🤍✨

If you have a friend like this, send this to them. We all need this reminder.

Work in progress, can you guess what is it?
I had a lot of fun with my Monster High series and wanted to do something else nostalgic! Good thing this show is getting a reboot because it gave me the perfect team to draw!

March, you surprised me.

I have this weird thing I do—I always end up crying on the first of the month. (Then again, I cry at Nicholas Sparks movies or when the sunset looks just the right amount of pretty, so maybe it’s just a me thing.)

I think it comes from this fear that if one month—like February—was so good, then the next could never be better. But let’s talk about that.

Imagine you’re about to do a workout. You think back to a yoga session you did two years ago—whether it was amazing or awful—and you convince yourself that you can’t do another because it’ll never be as good or it’ll just be the same. But that’s not how life works.

The world doesn’t stop just because one month was your favorite. You have to keep going. You have to keep living.

March was great. Full of reflections, spring vibes, and embracing where I am and what I have. As someone with anxiety, it’s hard not to obsess over where things will go in the next five years. But that’s not my job. My job is to enjoy now, to trust the process, to let life unfold.

So, March, I’m lucky.

Thank you. Thank you for letting me be loved, for letting me love in my deep Ry way, and for all the opportunities that remind me—wow, yeah. I really am the luckiest girl.

April let’s do this- but I know this will be the best month yet because when you are loved and you give love you have everything you need 🦋✨🥺🫶🏼

I think we all can see why I started a blog 💌😂

February, I fell in love with you.

And here’s why—

You gave me my little Pixar, my sunshine wrapped in fur. She loves me simply because I exist, because I’m hers. And that kind of love—the kind that doesn’t ask for anything in return—is the purest thing I’ve ever known.

You gave me moments with the people I love—some near, some far, but love knows no distance. It stretches across miles, through screens, through time. It stays. And I felt it everywhere.

You gave me healing. The kind that doesn’t come all at once but in tiny moments—deep breaths, quiet goodbyes, the realization that I don’t have to hold onto everything to honor what it meant to me. You let me wrap things up in a pink bow and finally set them down.

You gave me more love. More people to love. More things to love. More softness in my heart. You reminded me that love isn’t something that runs out, it’s something that expands. That there’s always more waiting for me, always more to give.

You gave me growth. My podcast, Take Care of Your Body by Ry, turned one. A whole year of sharing my heart, my voice, my purpose. A whole year of showing up, of creating something bigger than me, of realizing that what I do matters. You reminded me that I am making an impact. That I am seen.🥹🦋💜

And you let me wear red and pink all month without looking crazy, and somehow, that mattered too. Because February, you let me be me. Loudly, softly, fully, unapologetically me.

Someone asked me how I’m so happy all the time. The truth? I’m not. No one is. But happiness isn’t about always feeling good—it’s about feeling everything. And me? I feel. Deeply, endlessly, beautifully. I don’t just love, I love. I don’t just exist, I live. I welcome it all—the highs, the lows, the softness, the ache—because feeling deeply means I am here. And I wouldn’t trade that for anything.

So yes, February, I fell in love with you. And in your own quiet, gentle way, you loved me right back. 💖🦋💌✨

Can’t wait to see what March has in store🥹🫶🏼✨

I used to think love should never be confined to a single day, that waiting for a moment, a title, or a person to feel loved wasn’t fair. But I get the longing. The wish for someone to see you the way you see them, to want something real, something lasting. Maybe you love someone from a distance, someone you can’t be with no matter how much you want to. Maybe you love someone who was once yours but isn’t anymore. Maybe you haven’t found your person yet, and you’re tired of wondering when, or if, they’ll ever come.

But here’s the thing—love isn’t absent just because it doesn’t come in the form you expect. It’s in the way you show up for yourself, the moments you choose to keep going, even when it’s hard. Love is in the people who see you, in the laughter that fills a room, in the quiet peace of a solo moment. Love is everywhere around you, not just in what you’re waiting for.

Love is in the sunrises, the quiet walks, the joy you find in little things. Love what you have, love the friendships that lift you, love the space you’re in, even if it’s just a moment of peace in a busy world. Don’t wait for someone else to make you feel complete. You are enough as you are, right now, in this very moment.

You’re not missing anything. Love is not something you earn or wait for—it’s something you experience every day, in all the ways you choose to embrace life. And when the love that’s meant for you does come, it won’t feel like a wait. It will feel like home.

So love everything around you. Love the journey, the growth, the moments, and the people who fill your life. Love yourself, and know that the love you deserve is already on its way.

to my people + my Galentines, my supporters, my family, and anyone reading this I love u! Thanks for being here💌🥹

there’s so much out there to love. Go love something or someone today.

January felt like a lifetime. A month that stretched on endlessly, pulling me through emotions I didn’t ask for and lessons I wasn’t ready to learn. It was heavy and raw—filled with moments that made me question myself, my path, and everything in between. There were successes, yes. Wins that reminded me why I keep going. But there were also nights that felt impossibly long, thoughts I didn’t want, and feelings I couldn’t escape.

If there’s one thing this month taught me, it’s that when you focus only on what’s wrong, the weight of it will consume you. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t feel it. You have to sit in it, let it run through you, let yourself grieve the things you lost—even the things you never had. But you also have to remember that pain is not permanent. That no matter how stuck you feel, life has a way of moving forward, even when you can’t see it yet.

This month, I showed up even when I didn’t want to. I poured into RecipesByRy, my podcast take care of your body by ry, into my passion, into the things that remind me who I am. I set boundaries, I put myself first, I let myself feel the things I once would’ve run from. And somehow, I made it through.

If January felt endless for you too, I see you. I feel it. But you’re still here. And maybe that’s the biggest win of all. Here’s to February—please be gentle.💌💌💌💌

✨ I also was featured in another magazine with @boldjourneymag where I talk about how I stay inspired- even while facing challenges within the industry read it here.

This Year Isn’t Mine Anymore💌

2024 was heavy. It brought grief I never saw coming, losses that shook me, and battles with my body that I didn’t always know how to fight. Chronic illness challenged me in ways that often left me questioning how much more I could take. Connections I thought were unbreakable faded, and I had to face the ache of letting go—of people, of expectations, of versions of myself I thought I needed to be.

But even in the weight of it all, there was so much light. I poured love into my podcast, creating a space for meaningful conversations and laughter. I stepped out of my comfort zone in ways I never thought possible (yes, the pageant is still surreal to me). @recipesbyry became more than just a passion; it became a community. I’ve built connections, shared pieces of myself, and watched them resonate with people I’ve never even met. I discovered how to make the most out of every little moment, finding joy in the simplest things, like cozy nights, warm cookies, and random bursts of laughter that make my heart smile.

This year wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t wasted. It reminded me how strong I am, how much love I have to give, and how much joy can come from simply showing up as myself. I learned that growth isn’t just the big, flashy wins but the small, quiet victories too—like making it through a tough day, sharing a smile with a stranger, or finally getting that recipe just right.

2025 will be mine. I’ll carry the lessons, honor the struggles, and hold onto the wins. Here’s to reclaiming the narrative and stepping into a year that feels true to who I am. I’ll keep sharing love, embracing new adventures, and remembering to laugh when life gets messy (because that’s what makes it fun, right? hehe).

So, here’s to a year that’s all about embracing the journey, filling it with love, and dancing through every moment like it’s meant to be celebrated.🥂
