🏀 BASKETBALL TRYOUTS ARE COMING UP! 🏀

The season will be here before you know it.

If you want to make an impact, the time to prepare is NOW.

Over the past few years, we’ve worked with multiple Howard County Players of the Year, a WCAC Player of the Year, McDonald’s All-American honorees, 14 1st-Team All-County selections, 6 1st-Team All-State selections, 4 All-Metro selections, & 10+ collegiate commitments.

Our basketball performance training is designed to help athletes:

🔸 Increase explosiveness & verticality
🔸 Improve single-leg stability + foot, ankle & knee strength
🔸 Develop balance & body control in basketball-specific movements
🔸 Improve lateral quickness & change-of-direction ability
🔸 Build strength, muscle & overall physicality

The goal? Walk into tryouts stronger, more explosive, more athletic, and better prepared to compete.

⏳ You have a limited window before tryouts. Use it.

📲 DM us or COMMENT “BASKETBALL” to get started and get your winter preparation underway.

Champions are made in the off-season.

The BEST bench press variation for athletes? 👀

This is one of my favorite go-to pressing variations with my athletes: what I call the Edge Bench Press.

Why?

Because it teaches you to actually use your entire body to produce force.

With the shoulder blades connected to the edge of the bench, your lower back and lower body have to maintain the position — essentially becoming the rest of the bench.

That means your hips, glutes, core, and posterior chain have to contribute instead of simply relying on the bench to stabilize you.

🔥 More full-body involvement
🔥 Better force transfer from the ground up
🔥 Greater posterior chain engagement
🔥 Less reliance on momentum, bouncing, or “bumping” the weight
🔥 A more athletic approach to pressing

And the variations are endless.

You can perform it single-arm, single-leg, or bilateral, while adding bands or med balls in different positions to challenge the glutes, core, adductors, and hip flexors in different ways.

The goal isn’t just to get stronger at the bench press.

It’s to learn how to create and transfer force through your entire body.

That’s what makes this such a valuable tool for athletes. 💪🏽🏀⚾️🏈

Train the press. Train the body. Build the athlete.

Save this one and give it a try in your next session. 👊🏽
